Now that I have had time to look at it closely, the underlying cause seems to be Emojis in posts e.g. I am able to save a post without them; but as soon as I add just one, I can’t save it without the error message (NOTE: I namely copy and paste posts written on Substack that contains numerous Emoji flags etc in headers, headlines, etc). I am not sure why this suddenly started to happen a few months ago…
Note: I have another (static) website with no posts but Emojis on pages (limited to a few types though) and I am not having this problem (I am also not having the problem if I copy and paste a post from Substack and save it as a post on this other website). The theme is the same albeit there are some different plug-ins. Everything has been updated.
]]>Hi,
I have a problem with this plugin. When I edit a page, from the administration menu, and I click on “Update”, I get an 403 error page:

You don’t have permission to access this resource.
But if I deactivate the plugin and flush the cache, everything works normally. It should be noted that I configured the plugin, in particular the redirections of sensitive pages. All other WordPress features seem to work fine.
Is there a parameter to change?

]]>My blog was working fine yesterday. Today I am not able to post any new posts. I made no changes to my site between yesterday (Jan 17, 2020) and today (Jan 18, 2020).
When I enter the posting editor the following message is displayed right below Permalink: ?preview=true:
“You are currently editing the page that shows your latest posts.”
I am not currently editing any page.
I installed the Fix Another Update in Progress plugin and ran it. It said “There is no Update lock issue. Continue with your WordPress Update”.
I searched the wp_options database file for core_updater.lock and found nothing.
One user answered a similar question by saying the database was full. My provider, Ionos, doesn’t restrict my database size as far as I know.
I replaced all of the WordPress files with the exception of the wp-content folder.
I’ve basically tried everything I found online about this problem.
I am desperate to post to my blog again. I hope someone can help me.

this is a new installation and the comments are not working. I think it has something to do with the host I’m testing.
Thank you

]]>I updated to the latest version of wordpress. Now I cannot post or edit current content. Here is what I have done so far:
1. I backed up my wordpress (all files, data bases and content)
2. I updated using the update button. I realised that I couldn’t edit my posts or pages or post anything new. Also my plugins were not showing correctly and I couldn’t edit my theme’s options (I am using the 7 dream theme)
3. I upgraded manually following the exact instructions from here
4. Now I could see my plugins correctly and also my theme, still can’t post or edit my content.
Other mentions:
-cleared cache from zen cache plugin and also from browser,
-disabled all plugins,
– changed to 2015, 2016 and 2014 theme,
– tried from microsoft edge. internet explorer, chrome, mozilla (latest versions, no extensions or plugins enabled)
– tried to access my admin from an iPhone with a different internet connection
– tried updating my theme
Nothing worked. Any help would be appreciated.
