I tried with this plugin – RSS Featured Image and with that plugin I can see the images but there is no option to resize them so I will not use the plugin.

Why doesn’t it work with your plugin? Thanks.

We have WordPress installed on our Apache server and are having trouble getting going. I am now able to login and create pages just fine. I can also both upload and FTP images. The images look good in the Media Library. However, when I visit or preview a page I do not see the image, I see the broken image icon. It’s also broken in the page editing view. But it’s find in the library.

Any idea what is going on?

Can't See Images Since WP 3.9.2

Since the upgrade to WP 3.9.2, most my images on blog entries can’t be viewed. I also cannot add an image back into the entry for replacement. I can upload the photo, but when click insert the page shows a small little square with a dot in middle. There is no way to any longer edit size of the image either.

Image Store plugin not working after WP update

Hi, I installed the plugin Image Store earlier today, had uploaded images to a gallery viewed it on the site successfully, then made a few tweaks to the settings, updated WP, and poof, not I get a 404 error whenever I click on any of the menus linked to the galleries or image store.

How can I revert to an earlier version of WP?

images uploading but not showing

I had an issue with my hosting but it was resolved and my site is up adn working fine again.

I’m not sure if its a coincidence or to do with them BUT…

Now when I try uploading media to a post the thumbnail square you tick stays blank. I can add alt, description etc and post but when I view the blog there is no image just a link that is broken.

If I try to view the image directly in a URL I get

“Access Denied
You are not allowed to see the page.

If you have any queries about this error, please e-mail [email protected].”

However I can see the image file in the remote folder so its as if it HAS been upload successfully.

Also if I just FTP up an image to that folder I can see it fine in a browser.

This make me think it is a WordPress problem. The folder permissions are set to full.

404 pages not wanted

I’m new to the forum and so hello everyone.

Within my wordpress site, I created a folder where I am trying to build a normal html website. I labeled it facebook. For some reason, the text will show on the page, but the images won’t

My images folder is located on and when I click to see the folders, I’m sent to a 404 page.

Can’t someone explain why? And how can I view the picture.

I’m not sure how to fix this and would appreciate any advice. Thanks, Mike

moved site can't see images

Recently moved my site. The pages load with the proper CSS but the images do not. They all still point to the old server. I started going back to each post in my dashboard and changing the location for each image. This works but it’s going to take forever. Question 1: Is there a faster way?
Question 2: Why doesn’t it change in the Media Library? I can’t see any of my images here and then in Edit Media, it won’t let me change the URL.
