Categories are not working.

When i put a post into the category , it seems like nothing is in there.

This massage all the time comes up.

Oops! That page can’t be found.

It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try one of the links below or a search?

any ideas ?

Problem with categories, no posts assigned??

Hello,

suddenly today the categories do not display in the posts in the frontpage but this is not just it.

if i go to admin/posts/categories
i see the number of posts in each category, if i click that number it shows nothing.

it seems that the categories are their but something is corrupted. can anybody help?

My WordPress site has categories on the page twice. Yes, that’s my future x wife. (kidding)

Also I have a post on there & I don’t know how to change the name on the categories list, it’s in the list but I need to change the name.

Hello i face a serious problem in my site. I have updated to the newest version of wordpress, but now i am facing a problem with the categories. All the categories do not appear in the categories section in the wp-admin, but they appear in my site’s index. My site is www.thefreescreensavers.com. And when i tried to add a new category of the same name, i get the message: ‘A term with the name provided already exists with this parent.’, but nothing really appears in wp-admin as it shows that i have no categories! Please help. Thanks

Hi guys. I have run into something of a problem. Today my categories stopped working. When ever you click to go to a category page you just end up on the home page.

I have spent lots of time figuring out what the problem with the categories of my blog is.

I just installed WordPress, created a category and then created a post with that category and also a tag for it.

When I look at the post on my homepage (https://blog.theredpin.com/) I can see the tags and the categories its under, but when I click on one of these tags or categories I get “Sorry, but there aren’t any posts in the Romance category yet.” ??? I have tried everything but somehow my tags and categories don’t get connected to my posts.

Even on my dashboard it shows under categories I have posts, but when I click on the number of posts to view the actual posts, nothing comes up?

Thank you so much in advance, I feel like there is nothing I can do to get this started and I am too excited and too late to sit around!

Categories don’t list and have MySQL error

Hi all,

I try to find and don’t have a answer until now.
In my wordpress installed in a linux server with PHP 5.1.6 and MySQL 4.1.21 I have a problem with the Categories.

In the admin manager (Manager >> Comments) nothing is showing, but when I will write a post, the Categories is in there. When I create a new category, that is showed in the list, and add to the database, but only by the jscript. If I load this page again, the categories list still empty.

In the sidebar when I try to list the categories using the WIDGETS I get this error:

The documentation said that this funciton (wp_list_cats) is deprecated and I need to use other (wp_list_categories). But the result is the same.

I’d realized that the links to the categories page, in the categories listed in a post, is blank too (?cat=*nothing*).

I was using the 2.1 version, and think that 2.2 will solved the problem, but doesn’t.

Anyone can help?
