I occasionally use snippets of poetry, occasionally a whole poem if it’s in the public domain. I want to center the poem, but I don’t want to lose the way the poet structured the lines, which are mostly aligned left. Is there a way to do this? A quote block tends to be too clunky and, if there are other prose quotes that are centered, they don’t look right.

Centering text without centering every line

I’d like to center a poem in my post, and the lines of the poem are all aligned left. If I simply center the whole poem, every line is centered. Is there a way to keep the left alignment of the lines themselves and still center the whole poem?

Slider Image Text NOT Centered ANYMORE

The main text on the website was centered and has been since I made changes two weeks ago. Now the homepage appears with the slider images but the text which was centered, is now located in the top left corner…

What is going on and how do I fix this?

I am trying to find a simple fix.
On one of my pages I have some videos placed using shortcode ultimate
The title text over it is placed just using the editor.

The problem is that the text is always off center. It is much worse in safari.
I suspect there is an easy html fix that I can’t figure out.
Can anyone help?

Hello

The top row of my table has some merged cells, where I’ve combined three columns’ cells into one. These are the only cells that are not centering when I’ve added the extra CSS. Do I need to do something different?

I am using theme Weaver II pro and tried many ways to center the link and text on my page but no joy. Any way I tried it made the text not expand or some other problem. I still consider myself a beginner with wordpress and html but if you can give me a hint I would appreciate. I also tried to edit the php file with no success.
