how can I change or delete the sidebar? I tried a lot of functions but I can’t change anything.

Change a template to fullwidth

Hello, I have assigned a Blank template to certain pages, and need to change it to fullwidth, or to display a different sidebar than the Default template (currently the same).
The default template is used for the blog, I’d like to use the Blank template for the listing details.
I’m a total beginner and no idea how to do it.

I need to move my sidebar lower down the page so that it starts below the featured image on my page, in-line with my content, instead of beginning at the same level next to the featured image at the top… does anyone know how to move it downwards? Im using the Redwood 2015 theme by the way…..

Hello All,

I am trying to change the sidebar from right to left on our site which uses Radius theme

I did take a look at all the previous postings on the forum as well as looked at other resources but couldn’t really find a way.

Is there any plugin that could be used for this purpose. (Just to ensure I don’t mess up any other setting or alignment, which seems to be happening with almost all the themes when the ‘float’ property is edited..)

Appreciate if any of you can advise or suggest on how to go about this.

Hello,

I have created my own template with Artisteer. Everything is working properly, however.. I was wondering how/if it’s possible to remove the sidebar on the left side, and sidebar on the right side from specific pages only. The issue.. I have my wordpress setup as a static front page Home, and then my blog appears on a page called Journal. I have a widget/something on the left titled Categories, and below that I have Archive, them are both on the left sidebar area, and I have Search on the right sidebar area. How can I remove all three items just from my Home static page, and keep them on the Journal page, and everywhere else. Also, if I can remove them, how can I replace them with something else just on that page.

Painter Theme Layout change

I absolutley love the flexibility of the painter theme. It’s great, but I can’t seem to find how to change the layout. I would like the sidebar on the left side instead of the right, but the style.css only has three entries in it. Where are all the style settings? Does anyone know how to move the sidebar?
