How to change uploaded theme background? Please help!

Hi,

I recently uploaded the X theme on my wordpress website, however upon trying to change the background, it still has this gray background before my images load, and for some reason no matter what I do can’t seem to change it.

When you go on my website (www.myblackeedoil.com), usually in the first 3-5 seconds it will appear (gray block with pixel size recommendation). I have tried everything I know but can’t seem to figure it out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

I have installed the plugin on a new site for a client at https://clarkbusinesssolutions.com.au/property/catering-business-hobart

Because the site is basically black and the text white I need to remove the background from the agent section of the overview but cannot seem to track it down. Could you point me in the right direction please?

Hi wordpress community,

I’m hoping you can help me out. I’ve downloaded a theme for my self-hosted blog and I am trying to make a simple change to the background that the theme comes with. It is only a slight colour change to the background image the theme provided.

I’ve edited the original image in photoshop, added the new file to the theme image folder, re-installed the theme and changed the style.css file to reflect the change. The new background image does not show up on my website and the background is now blank with the theme background colour showing. Any suggestions on what I’m doing wrong?

Background Opacity

My posts and info are getting a little lost in my background. I have an overlay over a picture, I just need to change the opacity % on either the background photo or overlay.
