I would like to know if it is possible to remove the job slug in permalinks
I consulted this link https://wpjobmanager.com/document/tutorial-changing-the-job-slugpermalink/ and followed the instructions to add the category and region to the base URL.
It worked perfectly, however, I would like the URL to be like “www.site.com/category/region/post” instead of “www.site.com/job/category/region/post”. Is it possible?
Thanks!
Our website is https://www.quieroinfo.uy/ and here is an example of what I’m talking about https://www.quieroinfo.uy/job/talleres-mecanicos/buceo/arc-performance/

]]>I realise I could change the date to the correct one, but doing so means I lose all the share counts, and naturally I would like to keep them.
My blog post is in response to someone esles blog posted on 16th November, so it looks really bad having my response dated 2 months before the one I am responding to.
Is there any way I can fix this and retain the shares.
Here’s the link:

It doesnt matter what post I click on, the link will always show to be correct but it will only return me to the blog main page and never the post. Below are links to show examples of whats wrong, I use short links so when people google our site these posts dont show up as they have before.
Blog Main Page:
With permalink change:
And lastly, a copy of the current .htaccess file:
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress
]]>I purchased the not cars for sale plugin because the site I am working on is selling trucks. Got the plugin installed, activated and then saved the permalinks again. But, when adding a truck, the link to the individual product looks like https://www.somedomain.com/cars-for-sale/truck-name.
Now if I type in the url like so, https://www.somedomain.com/trucks-for-sale/ I get the listing of trucks, which is fine. So, now how do I get the link to the actual product to show the trucks-for-sale/product-name? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

]]>I wanted to modify it substantially, but I didn’t want to take down the old version of my page until I knew I had the new version just right, so I cloned the page and modified the clone.
When it was just right, I changed the original permalink from /events to /events-2,
then I changed the new permalink to /events. I clicked on “Update” each time I modified the permalink.
Unfortunately, now when I try to view the events page, it automatically takes me to /events-2.
I want the modified page to have the original permalink of /events.
How can I make this fix?
]]>Thanks for help in advance
]]>I’m sorry if this has been posted before.
I’m trying change my permalinks settings so that I get a better URL.
I want to change the setting so that the url comes up like https://jeffturnbull.com/blog/NameOfPost
Reading another post someone suggested checking the Custom Structure to /%postname%/ which I then did.
Is this correct? Because when I did this, if then try to find an old post or page it comes up with an error box to say Oops! This link appears to be broken.
Can someone please let me know what I am doing wrong or missing out?
Many thanks
Jeff
