Charitas Lite home page not showing photo

Just changed wp theme to Charitas Lite and created a post; however, photo does not appear on home page (although all lead photos show on the hundred of posts I imported). This is the first post I’ve done with new theme.

Photo appears in edit, preview and when title on home page is clicked to link. I’m published and don’t want people seeing my home page without photo. Please help — and thank you!

Widgets on homepage

I can’t get the home page widget areas to display. I’m not having any trouble with the footer widgets, however.

I see that someone had a similar problem about 5 months ago, but I don’t see any specific response to her issue posted anywhere.

Topbar editing

I want to edit text in the top bar of my homepage, but I cannot locate the plugin that controls the topbar.

How can you change the text there? I just want to edit a phone number.

Hello,

I’m in need of help. I have been trying to change the look of my website’s homepage for sometime. I want to remove the ‘latest posts’ and ‘archives’ sections off my homepage. I thought initially these were widgets, but I didn’t find any widgets with these names and I did remove widgets that called, ‘blog’ and ‘archives’ yet there was no change to the website. I’m starting to think that these sections cannot be removed from my WordPress site. What should I do?

Requesting Help with Horizontal Menu Going Vertical in Firefox

Hello,

I am using a Theme (Charitas) which was purchased from ThemeForest but has now being sold by WPlook. In doing so, I am getting difficulty in either updating it or finding support.

However, the problem I am facing is that since the last few weeks…sometimes when I click on a certain page…the horizontal primary menu stacks on top of each other towards the right side of the screen..and becomes vertical.

This problem is happening in Firefox. I checked in Chrome and the Menu remains intact. Please let know what can be done to fix this problem…considering I may not be able to update the theme.

Pages and categories

Hi! I am using Charitas Lite and would like to have all blog posts tagged with “events” show up when the top right page “Events” button is hit. The other pages I have in the upper right have just regular text in them, (About, Contact) but I would like the 3rd button to pick up the posts in the events category and just list them like a blog.

The look of the menus isn’t working with our site so I was hoping to do it through the use of pages.

Whats the best way to do this?

Hi! I messed with the code of a free theme I was using. I both re put in the code I had copied before I started messing with it (didn’t work), and deleted and uninstalled the theme, but the mess up is still happening. I was trying to delete some of the footer text and now the main image starts to load then won’t show up.

The theme is Charitas Lite.
