That’s to make parent categories of my chosen inactive. So users would only be able to select subcategories in these cases. Thank you for your time and assistance

]]>I am using this finest theme and I am much satisfied with it. Only some suggestions.
1- Child Category do not appear on post page post summary. Only the Main Category show. Please amend that only EXACT category to show that writer mention is category to show.
2- Footer area needs to be revamped to work like in Kedance or other contemporary themes.
3- Changing color is difficult. to be controlled by Hex number. Again like Kedance and similar themes.
]]>e.g.
post1 in category AAA (main) and BBB (second)
post2 in category AAA (main)
post3 in category BBB (main)
post4 in category BBB (main)
Now, when I go to category BBB, I want to display in sidebar latest posts of category BBB. Default your plugin display post1, post3 and post4 but I want to display only post3 and post4.
]]>Could you please provide a coding solution (php code inside functions.php or the category template) for displaying all subcategories of a parent category when on a particular parent category page?
Thanks!

]]>However as we have grown we now need to start nesting the categories and assigning parent categories.
Unfortunately this now changes the URL structure to : SITENAME/PRODUCT-CATEGORY/PARENT-CATEGORY/CHILD-CATEGORY/
I am wondering if there is a way to only ever display the child category such as: SITENAME/PRODUCT-CATEGORY/CHILD-CATEGORY
for all child categories?
]]>It seems like, since the last update, that Picking a Child Category also activates the Parent Category for a Product.
It behaves like this – It only happens when i change somethings in the back-end,
for example i add some text to the product post type, and after updating the product, suddenly the parent category gets activated ( without me clicking it )
Even when quick-editing a product ( even when i don’t change something, just click on the update button ), the parent category becomes “activated” —`
Is this behaviour intentional? How can it be reverted?
All the best,
Niko
Thanks in advance

]]>I have the following categories:
- Animal
-- Dog
--- frenchie-1
--- frenchie-2
--- frenchie-3`
`Animal > Dog > frenchie-3
I need to get the slug from “frenchie-3”, that is the last one in this situation. Maybe in the future will be a frenchie-4 and I would need to retrieve this “new last” category of that child category. I will always need the last one.
Thanks a lot for your attention.
]]>I would like to know how I can list inline all subcategories (child categories) of current category with your shortcode.
Many thanks in advance!
