I have created a Twenty Twenty-Five child theme. I would like to customize the header and footer in the child theme. How can I do this?
Thanks in advance
Child theme is set to template Twenty Twenty Five. I have style.css (empty) in place and also readme.txt, functions.php (empty) and theme.json (defines as ver. 3 but is empty). Site loads and looks like a mess. why?
Being a child of TT5 what happened to font load? What happened to header etc etc etc etc etc. and how do I recover this? It’s pointless you send me links to stuff. This is counterintuitive in FSE and how do I get this right?
Thx

Is there a way except adding !important to every single line to have it just use the child css when present?
Thanks in advance!
]]>in order to further customize our website we just created our own child theme (using the documentation provided by Hestia) but we are facing one issue, that we can’t fix on our own.
The problem is, that the website is displaying the default Hestia header background gradient, even though when opening the Customizer our customized color is selected. (see image below) Any ideas on how that could happen?
My setup: WordPress 6.6.1, Woocommerce 9.1.4. This is Multisite installation.
My theme: I have chosen TwentyTwenty-Four as my theme with the intention to customize it. I really do not remember why and how but at the moment my theme is named: Twenty Twenty-Four/twentytwentyfourcustom Version: 1.2
It is a parent theme, not child theme. Its style.css says: /* Theme Name: Twenty Twenty-Four but WP backoffice Appearance/Themes screen says it is Twenty Twenty-Four/twentytwentyfourcustom Version: 1.2.
Is it possible to:
Convert or transfer current theme and its customization to a clean Parent Theme (2024) / its Child theme setup so I can make further modification to the Child and have possibility to update 2024 theme in the future?
