Unable to see and print Chinese in PDF

Customer entered Chinese character in the name and address fields. I am not able to see it on the PDF invoice. It doesn’t display properly. How to solve this?

I managed to display the reading time based on the guide here: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/creating-an-estimated-reading-time/

The challenge is my post is in Chinese characters. I wonder if the reading time is correct or not as almost all is 1 minute reading time.

Problem with Chinese Characters

Hello. We have a number of products on our store with Chinese characters in the image file name. Imagfy has a problem with these type of characters and you get errors such as this.

So this file cannot be converted to a webp image, because of the lack of Chinese character support in the plugin. Is it possible to have this fixed?

I am testing PMPro free version on my local test site. When I set up my first membership level I used Chinese characters in the level name, description and message fields. But PMPro just displayed ??????? in those fields. I have followed the previous forum solution by changing the character codeset in the database.

Hi, I just tried to set up PMPro for the first time. The first step is to set up membership level. I entered Chinese characters in the level name field. But PMP did not recognize it and display ????. Same went with the Description and Message fields. Is there a way to use Chinese characters in PMP? I am testing the free version.

Chinese Characters Inserted Into Dashboard, Website

I am the web manager for a student publication using WordPress for our website. My editor alerted me that writers have been seeing weird artifacts on the website since this morning. Both the website itself and my WordPress Dashboard include Chinese characters inserted at the top (not added by any of the editors). These characters are both in the website title () and at the header of the page itself and read: 开门 and 输入密码. I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating all of the active plugins, checking the website’s stylesheet and checking the general dashboard settings, but I have found no hint of what is causing this problem. Additionally, the text on the WordPress dashboard is now a neon green (it was black before this problem happened).
