After playing around with three different header images I decided not to use any header image at all. Although I can delete the image from the customizer and I get a correct preview in the customizer, the actual website always shows the very first image I uploaded (called “HandsOfHope.jpg”). What ever I try, it remains the same image, same size.
Deleting the image from the media library will result in having a white area on the website, same size as the former image. After uploading “HandsOfHope.jpg” to the media library the image will show on the blog again, yet NOT in the preview of the customizer.
Switching to a different template, deleting and reinstalling chosen pro on WordPress won’t change anything either, as soon as I change back to chosen pro everthing is back to where we were before.
Inspecting the header reveals things like
<div id=”header-image” class=”header-image” style=”background-image: url(‘https://www.hope4future.eu/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/HandsOfHope.jpg’)”></div>
This looks much different from my other chosen pro sites (links to be found in the top menu of the site).
I’m neither a website nerd nor an html expert, I’m just trying what I can do before contacting support. Which I need to do now. I need help and would appreciate some suggestions.
Thank you!
Marcus

However when i copy and paste that into Chimpfeedr.com I see a message telling me it is an invalid feed.
On checking with w3.org I find this is the issue:
https://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stephenbentley.info%2Ffeed%2F
Can anyone tell me how to fix it?
I am using Chosen Pro as a theme and running the latest version of WordPress.
Thank you!
