On previous builds we have been able to have complete control over the output of image URLs. With version 3 of the plugin, when we output an image that contains a Cloudinary URL, the Cloudinary plugin will automatically rewrite the URL. I’m sure this is desirable behaviour if you want a drop-in solution for image replacement, however, it would also be great if this could be disabled in some way to give those that want more flexibility the ability to use their own solution.

The ability to control the output through a hook or function would be ideal, especially if we can disable source re-writing completely. Does something like this exist within the plugin currently? If not, is there anyway this can be done?

WP REST Cache + Cloudinary not working

Good morning support team.

The WP REST Cache plugin doesn’t seem to be working with Cloudinary URLs. Apparently, there is a race condition that causes the cache record to save the images from the WordPress storage and not from Cloudinary.

WP REST Cache 2021.4.1 + Cloudinary 2.1.9: The cache record is saved with the Cloudinary path properly.

WP REST Cache 2021.4.1 + Cloudinary 2.7.7 onwards: The first request works properly then in cache it saves the URLs as if they were files uploaded to WordPress.

WordPress version 5.9.3

When I delete an image it stays on Cloudinary

When I delete an image, it stays on Cloudinary. That’s why if I upload a different image, but with the same name as the deleted one, then I get that old one instead of the new one.

Do you have any idea how can I fix it?

Images broken and impossible to Sync

PLEASE I need your help since we are experiencing huge headaches since more than a week :(

 1) a lot of images get broken when we activate the plugin. 

2) when the plugin in ON featured images are broken | when the plugin is OFF featured imeges works good

3)  Media assets are synced to Cloudinary 3322 of 3422. We cannot sync 100 assets

I have installed the Cloudinary plugin on my WordPress site, I have changed the storage type to Cloudinary Only, but the files in the uploads folder are idle in my local folder and they arent being uploaded to Cloudinary

Invalid Credentials

Hi,

I installed this plugin and copied my Environment variable URL which is in the correct format as it is written in the texbox where I have to paste it, but every time I get an error “Invalid Credentials”. I freshly made my account so I am confused. Do I have to wait 24 hours or is it an error in the plugin, and if so, how can I fix it?
