I didn’t include a site link because this seems to be a problem on every website that I use The SEO Framework on.
I host sites using Cloudways, which offering staging sites for any live site that users have.
As a result, I have a separate server on Cloudways for staging and one for production. Whenever I push changes from the staging site to live site, the license key for The SEO Framework stops working. I have to disconnect, reconnect, and reactivate extensions each time. This also happens if I pull a copy from a live site to a staging site.
Is there any work around with this? I always activate on both the staging and the live sites, but that doesn’t resolve the issue for whatever reason. It’s a minor thing, it just gets a little redundant to do every time I make site changes on a staging that need pushed to a live site.
Thanks for any help!
]]>Used your plugin successfully via Cloudflare previously, but since moving to Cloudways hosting, we have experienced caching issues (with incorrect content being cached and shown to users within/outside geographic locations).
How we wish to use it is mostly quite basic – in terms of showing a local (Australian) phone number if the user is within Australia, and showing our International phone number if the user is outside of Australia.
Can you please let me know if your plugin can work with Cloudways GeoIP detection, as per https://support.cloudways.com/en/articles/5126366-how-to-use-geoip-with-your-application?
Thank you,
Luke
]]>First of all I want to thank you guys for creating this free but extensive plugin. At our company we are trying to improve performance of our website (uwcomputerstudent.nl). We use Cloudways hosting and are trying to set up Cloudflare Caching (Free) but I can’t seem to get it to work. The header still shows x-cache: MISS and when clicking Test cache inside your plugin I get the message: Page caching seems not working for both dynamic and static pages. I purged all cache (from wp-admin, cloudflare and cloudways dashboard), checked the page rules, workers, etc. I checked the FAQ and some other topics here but no luck.
You can find all important info and screenshots here: https://imgur.com/a/NmPsQ1r
Note: we are using Object Caching Pro and Varnish. We don’t have any other optimization plugin active inside WP
If you need any more info, let me know
Thank you!
1) For using browser cache you recommend adding some rules to the nginx config, but cloudways refuses to add them and suggested to ask for the htaccess rules that are not same. can you provide them? thanks
2) on admin pages, some actions are not performed like deleting some export setting from export plugin. When click delete y load the page exactly the same as before. I guess some caching is happening in backend! im using worker mode. can you guide me to solve it ? thanks
