Its been a while since I contacted my site theme’s support in order to solve a strange issue with the gallery that appears in the frontpage, and I ended up finishing that ticket with them thinking the issue was solved. But it was not.
Today I found the issue happening again, and even clearing caches, rebuilding pages and so on, the issue persisted. It was a quick thought I had and was enough to associate this bug with the Live CDN feature of WP Compress. And it was. Changing the mode to Local Optimization instantly made the gallery behave normally just after a refresh, it was not even needed to clear caches or anything alike.
The issue itself?
The theme I’m using is OnePress. This theme has a special gallery right in the frontpage that displays the content of a specific page with some gallery, inserted into the homepage. This gallery is then displayed according to the theme panel options on the Customizer. When Live CDN mode is active, some of the images in this gallery do not fill up the entire frame as the other images.
So you get an idea, here are two images:
I don’t think there are any options I can change to fix this, so you may look into this and see if it can be fixed in a future update?
Thank you!
]]>I am using elementor, so I get this warning in WordPress “WP-Stateless: Compatibility for Elementor Page Builder isn’t enabled”. I enable it.
Now elementor does not load the css anymore. Neither in elementor editor nor in the frontend any css is applied. Image load just fine.
I can temporarily fix this problem by setting css mode in elementor to inline, instead of external.
WP-Stateless 2.2.7
Elementor Pro 2.6.2
Wordpress 5.2.3
Even the free tier of CloudFlare is awesome!
]]>Am currrently looking to use this plug-in on my site but can only get the widget to fully display (icons and lay-out etc) if I turn off the CDN caching. I use Max CDN in conjunction with W3 Total cache.
Is there a way round this?
Many thanks

]]>We’re doing a website for a Chinese client (can’t share now but FYI is currently hosted in Godaddy). At the moment the site is small but will grow (in features, size and traffic) as the client expands their product/service portfolio.
We’re having a challenge because the ACTUAL market for my client is in China (but they will expand in Asia, EU and US in the future). They are currently experiencing a very slow website and wish we move the site to a chinese hosting. We don’t want to do that because we haven’t found a chinese hosting with english UI and even less with english support.
The scenario of Hosting in China only, is also not a good solution for the international growth plans.
I have been reading about CDNs and contacted the 3 leaders in China. They seem to be a good solution but really expensive.
I’m wondering if there is any other way to deal with the hosting in US or EU and sync to 1 location in China. Is there something like a “private” CDN or “dropbox” for servers that could replicate/synchronize the contents and databases on multiple locations?
Thanks!
