Yesterday as I was editing a post I thought this problem was with that post. But today I visited my home page and saw this exact same thing on every post excerpt.

The first line is reference 1 and the backlink goes nowhere. The second line is the second reference and apparently includes all the other lines.

I see the same thing when I use my Android phone to visit mentalpowertools.com home page.

If you follow the link for a post from the home page, the post shows the same code as the last two references. The other references are shown correctly before the last two.

Newsletter delivered with code showing and odd text formatting

Hello.
I’m using ALO EasyMail Newsletter plug-in with self-hosted WordPress 5.2.2. The plug-in is up to date.

When I sent a newsletter today, it arrived with bits of code showing, gaps between letters in words, and the images all over the place. I am sure it was fine a month ago. Here’s an example:

At the top of the letter and are showing. The text didn’t wrap around the images as it did before and one image has come out as its code not an image.

I’m not good at technical stuff; is there an easy fix, perhaps? Or someone who can look at it for me? I reputable company or something?

Search results showing Visual Composer code

We just installed the new version of Visual Composer, WP Bakery Page Builder, and now when we do a Search, the VC code is displaying in some of the results.

Here is an example. What do we need to do so that the VC code does not dispay in the Results list?

My blog posts on in the side bar are showing picture code when the pic can be seen on the sidebar. I’m sure it’s something simple but I can’t figure it out.

How to change title; line spacing; code showing

The title for my calendar on the web page says, Simple Calendar. How do I change it?

The Nov-Dec with navigation arrows below the title take up too much real estate. Can this be changed?

The detail for an event takes too much vertical space. And, there are duplicate items: Lions Meeting Lions Meeting. Why and how do I get rid of the tag?

Code appearing at top of published Contact page

I have pasted the code as instructed in the ‘how to’ pages and when I view the published page, the full contact form is there, but the shortcode is visible at the top of the page under the main page title.
