Hello guys, I have a problem with the plugin on the ColdFusion theme I bought from themeforest. I’ve created 2 languages, English and Romanian. So I have 2 menus with different content. When I change between the 2 different languages, the link of the site changes [ between /?lang=en and /?lang=ro-2 ] but the menu remains the English version.

My website is www.ossi.ro
and this is the theme I’m using.

I will upload the zip template somewhere if needed.

Hi ,

Im trying to find out more about using XMLRPC to connect to my wordpress blogs. Im building a webapp to help me manage my sites, and thought i would use XMLRPC for my wordpress sites.

Im looking for a way to add Posts and Pages.

Does anyone have a guide or know of where i can find a guide. Im going to be posting from my webapp which is coded in the CFML language.

Looking for Event Calendar plugin that like this ColdFusion example

Have a client who wants an event calendar on their site. However, they are very particular about it. They want it to look like this site (scroll to the bottom) and this was done in ColdFusion, so I’m looking for a WordPress equivalent. Most of the calendars I see use the traditional print calendar-like layout and I’m looking more for a list with a lightbox popup once a date is clicked upon. Anyone know of a plugin that can do something like this example?

Inserting and formatting WordPress directly through MySQL

I need to create/update WordPress pages directly from MySQL. Our company wants to pass product data from a ColdFusion site dynamically into WordPress, which we chose because employees want a CMS that’s easy to work with. I think we found a way to convert the CF database over to MySQL but now we just need a way to pass the data into WordPress, format pages and create them on the fly.
I found a tutorial at web-design101 but unfortunately it didn’t work when I tried it. Any help or referrals to a tutorial would be great. Thanks.

We have a ColdFusion website containing a huge amount of product info and photos that automatically pulls from a SQL 2005 database. Does anyone have any ideas about how we could pull that data into WordPress’ MySQL database to auto-generate page content from the SQL 2005 database/ColdFusion application? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Execute coldfusion code within post

I’ve found plugins that allow me to execute php code but what I’m after is a pluging that will allow me to execute coldfusion code from within a post. Or even a plugin that will allow me to execute html tags should work. Any ideas?

P.S. I’ve tried Raw HTML capability however the code isn’t executed

Hi,

I have an existing site in coldfusion and I wanted to combine some of the existing database call functions (to list things in the database) with a separate wordpress site i have. Is there a way to do this? Perhaps widget of some sort?

I host the wordpress site, so I have control over the environment if that helps.

Hi.

I have my Plesk configured in each domain with some services that i heard might be unnecessary and not needed to work with WordPress.

The services supported can be:
Apache ASP, SSI, PHP, CGI, Perl, Python, FastCGI, Miva and ColdFusion.

Right now i have enabled PHP, CGI, Perl and FastCGI.

Is it true that the server works more with needless services actived? Wich services are just needed for WordPress?

Hello,

I am new to WordPress but am trying to determine if our existing Windows hosting package can support WordPress.

Currently we are running ColdFusion with SQL Server 2005, so I am wondering if anyone has setup WordPress on a server with both PHP and ColdFusion running and even SQL Server with MySQL.

I am trying to see if there are any incompatibility issues or if this will create significant overhead on the server.

i have a site designed in cf, now after all is said an done i have been asked to incoporate a private blog into the site, no big deal, but i also have to include a careers page (available/upcoming jobs) and a training schedule that users can register to attend, without the blog id just do it all in cf, done that before, but users need to register to see the courses and the job postings as well as the blog. from a time perspective it would be faster and easier for me to do the job postings and training registration in cf and incorporate them into the existing site and have the blog separate but they need to have one single log on to access the job postings, training registration and blog, is there a plugin or code block that will let me have users login to my cf app and get access to a wp blog
