I thought at some point could set vertical and horizontal gaps separately, but maybe I’m only remembering the new custom gap option.
]]>2.On the demo blog page, the background shows on the right and left of all content, and also in between the main content and the widget column. On my page (see About), the main content white background butts up against the left, and the white background of main content touches the white content of the widgets. (no spacing in between.)
I looked for Demo content, but could not find anything. I realize you cannot provide images, and that is the reason. It would be very helpful to have some kind of demo content, even if there were just placeholders where the images are found.
Thank you for your time!
]]>I have a table at https://hydroponicsoils.com/test/
The bottom rows (8 and 9) have six columns.
Columns 1, 3, 5 are images
Columns 2, 4, 6 are text
I need the text to be moved to the left in each case so that there is very little space between the image and its text.
Right now, the text in column 2 could belong to image in column 1 or 3.
I have tried making maximum widths, but it doesn’t help.
I have tried making padding and margins 0 but that isn’t helping either.
Can you please give me some direction to remove the blank space between the image and its accompanying text.
Thank you.
]]>This also doesn’t happen all the time. As I was adding posts, I noticed sometimes a column would collapse at a point, and other times it won’t. I’m at a loss for what is causing it. I know it’s not the thumbnail images because it has the same spacing problem at the same spots in the grid even when I remove the featured thumbnail from the post entirely. As far as I can tell, all the posts have identical settings.
Please take a look at this page and notice how the second thumbnail under “Projections” has no spacing:
https://lastknownfootage.com/video/
Before I added the post beneath it, “Shorts,” all the thumbnails that followed in the second column in “Sketch & Series” collapsed into the first column too. When I added the “Shorts” post, the “Projections” thumbnail remained collapsed, but it fixed all the thumbs in the second column that followed.
There are no anomalies in the parsed code, and I can’t find anything in the theme style.css that affects any aspect of thumb or column spacing.
Please help!
Thanks,
Jeremy
I would like for my footer columns to be equally distributed, please. I have four columns. Once I get them to look even on a vertical screen (on a tablet), they look bad on a horizontal screen and vice versa. Is there anyway to just have all four columns aligned/spaced equally in both formats?
I used to edit for commercial production and I did closed captioning. Uneven spacing drives me crazy.
Thanks so much for your help!
Salina
PS- I have played with padding, but cannot get it to look even both horizontally and vertically. And now, it looks really bad on a cell phone. I’ve deleted everything that I changed (CSS), but it is still bad.

]]>I am at www.outsource-typing.com.
I didn’t really know what to call this as I have absolutely no idea what has actually happened to my page! Argh!
Here is what I did: installed Mailchimp for WordPress Lite, then, as advised, added widget to Main Sidebar. (What I wanted to do was have a newsletter sign-up on homepage, which worked and was right-aligned moving everything left :0 But then… well, see below).
Silly me, then I decided I didn’t want to add it after all and deleted everything (woman’s prerogative). But now all my text has been moved to a left-hand column and there’s a huge white space where once the text was lovely and filled the whole page How can I restore it back so my text on all pages is justified and fills the whole page?
Help much appreciated, is there some code I now need to remove or something else I need to do?
Thanks in advance, F
]]>Having an issue customizing it.
I have a table with a lot of columns. I had to turn on the horizontal scrolling to make it look nicer. But it’s still really squishing my text horizontally. I was able to add non-breakable spaces to prevent some of the squishing, but some of my longer words are splitting and wrapping between lines. I was wondering how I can control the text wrapping or if I can just turn this off completely. I tried using a generic
{
white-space: nowrap;
}
CSS into the plugin custom css area and it didn’t work.
Any suggestions?
Here is a link to the testing table that I created to try out your plugin:
https://test.puzzlecreatives.com/about/
Here you can see that my column headers are longer entries which is causing problems with how it looks.
