I host www.ads-software.com on my own website and recently the titles of posts appear one letter per line in the log in dashboard, like the one in the attached screenshot. It only appears like this when I view it on full screen on a computer – if I view it with the window resized to half size the words appear properly.
Please assist, thank you.
The “Styles” tab has a “Column Width” field.
Its value indicates what percentage of the total width each field in the row occupies.
At the moment, this value cannot be less than 10%. This means that only 10 fields can be placed in a row.
When creating a form, I needed to place more than 10 fields.
Is it possible to make the user able to set this minimum value for “Column Width”?
Or simply reduce this value from 10% to 5%?
Regards!
The column width for main text in posts, it seems is fixed at 2/3 with no way to change it on desktops. It is too narrow and wastes so much space on the side just for listing categories. We don’t need too much space on the side for documentation Index.
Is there way to make the text column in posts to 75%-80% so that side column is not so wide (1/3rd right now)? All other themes seem to have layout adjustment option allowing post column width to desirable widths. This doesn’t have it. That alone is deal breaker for a good documentation.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
There are two (I think) related parts to my question.
1. What is the maximum width of a table. I am trying to increase the width of the last column (column 7) on the right, but when I do, it distorts the display. Either, it increases the height of row 3 or 4, or reduces the width of columns 1-6. I am unable to widen Column 7 without adverse effects on other parts of the display.
2. Sometimes, when I make changes and click “Save,” I do not get the message banner that the changes were saved, and when I reload the associated page, the changes made have not been effected.
There are times when I change something like the text or image in a cell and the save button is greyed out, but by editing something else in any other cell, activates the save button, but often, I still have the same problem.
I am using WP Table Builder Version 1.4.4
WordPress version: 6.0.3
Firefox Version 106.0.3 (64-bit)
Thanks.
I have tried clearing the cache, turning on and off responsive, logging out of the site and logging in again, restarting the browser (Firefox) and even rebooting the computer.
I have updated the theme (the7) and woocommerce plugin, but after that, my columns on product page do not break so the text will walk behind the widget and the price and add on elements are next to each other while they should stay in their column and break to the next row.
I have played around with the theme options (break after 778px) and margins but it did not work. I think i am missing something or it is a theme thing.
Is there a workaround in css to check?
Much appreciated.
Roy
Is there a table plug-in that includes the ability to this without resorting to CustomCSS? I do not want to have the same table widths on every page, etc. I will want to have many different tables with many different column widths that are static widths and occasionally a static row height.
I found one query on here that said just select edit as html, but then the block gets an error when I put in
for one of the columns and asks me to try to recover the block, which ended up destroying the entire thing. So now I need to start over.
