It works fine on other posts that have comments.

]]>Hi,
Recently, I’ve discovered that all the comments on my blog read as ‘comments closed’.
I’ve checked the usual suspects and all seems in order.
1) “Allow people to post comments on new articles” is checked in ‘Discussion’.
2) ‘Screen Options’ > ‘Discussion’ is checked.
3) ‘Allow Comments’ is checked on the given posts.

I appreciate any insight / assistance.

Is there any way to display the message “Comments are closed” (like the default wordpress comment system) in the place of the WPDiscuz comment form, when I disable comments for a specific post?
Please let me know.
Thanks!
The comments are disabled/closed for posts/pages published before a specific date ( 15th of April). When I change the published date to 16 April or later, the comment area appears on the post.
The issue happens with three different sites hosted on one shared hosting account.
What I have tried:
Things I think might cause the issue but don’t know for sure:
If anyone has any suggestions, please write them down below as I have been trying to fix this for about 6-7 hours and I don’t know what is causing it. Thanks!

]]>I recently installed WordPress and the CommentPress plugin. I’ve begun to create a document that I would like commented on by my local community. I noticed today that the commenting form is fully functional on the landing/title page–the page that was part of the CommentPress install, but for all new pages that I create, the commenting feature is NOT working. The form with name, email, and text field are not deployed when I click on any of the prescribed triggers for making a comment.
As I noted, everything is working perfectly for the title page (the page that was part of the original CommentPress install), but not working at all for new pages I create. I’ve looked through everything I can think to look through on the admin side and have searched the Web for clues as to what’s up. I’m hoping that someone on this forum can provide some advice.
Thank you in advance for any advice you have!

]]>nice plugin but some minor things that are hurting my eyes:
The first thing is the next/previous section: I’d like to get rid of it becaus I see no use in it for our usecase.
Especially when “Next” is not the next upcomming event but the “next” I entered. And “Previous” shows the event I entered preveoiusly. I dont think that this is really helpful.
And not only that “Next” is on the lefthand side which is mostly seen as the “back” side and “Previous” …
So this section has to go. How can I manage that?
The next thing I’d like to get rid of is the “comments”-section just because I don’t need it. Comments are closed for all of our events.
So why should there be a “Comments are closed” comment?
So how can I get rid of it?
Many thanks in advance and greetings
