Where has my feedback gone?

I updated to the latest version of WordPress a few days ago, but I’m now finding that, although any replies I receive to my latest post are appearing in the comments section on my dashboard, they are nowhere to be seen on blog itself – it says I’ve had x number of comments, but there aren’t any there. I’ve never come across this issue before and so am thinking it’s got something to do with the latest update – can anyone help?

I have recently transferred from wordpress.com to selfhosted.
Most of the comments on my post have been transferred ok but there are a few posts where the comments are missing. How do I transfer them?

What happened to the comments?

I can’t see any of the comments that are posted on my blog when I click on the number that appears at the bottom of my post indicating how many comments have been made. I’ve never had a problem with this before.

Hi there,

I have just realized that the comments we approve on the blog are not displaying at the end of the posts in question.

My settings>discussions are set to display comments, and I don’t think anything in my options should stop them from appearing.

I am wondering if my templates need an adjustment but don’t know where to start. Any ideas?

The site is www.reading-rewards.com. I am using the Avada theme.

Comments not appearing on blog

The comments on my blog are not appearing on posts, but they are approved and are appearing in my admin dashboard. According to my dashboard, the post at https://www.sammichespsychmeds.com/2014/07/08/im-slightly-insulted-by-homeschooling/ has 5 comments approved and published, but I can’t see them on the post, nor can one of my friends at her home. I have deactivated the FB comments plugin (I saw other threads where this was the issue), but to no avail. I have everything set to allow for comments from all users, not just subscribers and admins. Also, I edited the post and selected both discussion and comments in the screen options tab at the top of the editing screen. Ideas?

Can't enable comments on blog running Clearly Modern Theme

I have enabled comments on each post and in the Discussion area of Settings. But I never get any comment box or anything to appear on a blog post.
I’m using Clearly Modern theme v 1.5.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated! I’m no expert & this site was set up by someone else a few years back, so I’m trying to jump on board after the fact!

Comments are not appearing on my blog anymore. I’m getting emails from people saying they have commented, but they don’t show up. I tried having a few people comment on the blog in my office, and the comments are not showing up.

One note: We are able to get comments to show up from blog subscribers/admins, but not from general visitors.

My settings are set to enable comments for all posts. I can’t figure out why they aren’t showing up.

I haven’t found a similar problem in the forums.

Comments arn't Appearing in Blog

Hi. I realized when my site went live that the comments are not appearing when I click on “no comments” or “1 comment” etc. at the bottom of each post. It just takes me to another blog page that also looks a little weird (the date is not aligned correctly). My theme seems to not be using comments.php. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen or how to fix the problem?

I’m having trouble with comments on my site. Users can type their comment, but it does not actually get submitted nor do I get notified on my Dashboard. Can anyone help me out with this?

Hello I am having a very similar problem, I cant make the previous comments appear under my post, I have read up on this greatly and one thing I did find was to insert

in the Main Index but this still doesnt seem to work, my sites https://www.studentspayless.com would appreciate any help that I could get
