on the website https://www.dittert-bau-badoeynhausen.de there was the post section active. Then some day a spam entry from Israel was written. Since then, the site loads https://fonts.googleapis.com/earlyaccess/opensanshebrew.css?ver=6.0.1 from Google to display the sender of the comment.
The two checkboxes (one for Ocean-WP and one for Elementor) in the Ocean-WP-Theme can disable Google Webfonts and work fine. But even after deleting the comment and the post, the opensanshebrew font is still linked in the
-section of the theme.
How do I get rid of this entry in the
-section?
Thanks in advance for your ideas.
I installed a child theme as per the instructions here, found in the guide to move the comments box: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/move-the-comment-form-above-comments/
But I don’t know how/where to put the comments.php – the guide states to add it to the child theme’s folder. Am I supposed to activate the child theme first to access such a folder? And where do I find this folder/what is it called so I can nav to it and dump the aforememtioned conde in?
If I need to activate the child theme first, it will skew my site – if it’s supposed to be an exact replica of my live GP theme, it’s not – some headings are shifted at first glance. Am I supposed to only use the child theme from now on, and adjust it to match my parent theme first?
I am used to just using GP just as it is, without the child.
I am a beginner web designer, and am in the process of creating a blog for my first client.
I am using the Astra WordPress theme together with Elementor Pro, but would like help with the following please…
FORM: I have included a sign-up form with just an email field and submit button, but would like these to appear next to each other (in one row) as opposed to underneath each other. Is there a way to do this? I’ve played around a bit with the custom CSS (using display:inline-block etc.), but to no avail.
COMMENTS & SEARCH PAGES: I am making use of the theme’s default designs for these – have already set the custom fonts, which is great! But would love to make a few more minor adjustments, such as:
– Capitalizing the heading and adding letter spacing (on both pages)
– Updating style of text in button in comments section to match the rest of the site (capitalise, letter spacing, bold, remove ‘>>’)
– Changing background colour of heading on search page
– Removing space above search results (between results and header)
These aren’t big adjustments, but would ensure an aesthetic consistency across the blog, which would be great! I’ve tried going into the Theme Editor to make these changes but, again, to no avail.
Any help is much appreciated
Thanks!
Kind Regards,
