We meet the four criteria to be defined as non-commercial and yet have been defined as commercial. Unable to contact support due to being a non-paid site.

Is there actually a human on this website that can help resolve this issue? I cannot view my stats as Jetpack has flagged it as commercial, yet I am not making a penny from it. can anyone suggest how I go about resolving this as being forced to cough up another ￡96 on top of my current website costs is ridiculous.

A perfect example of how to ruin a plugin with a single wrong move. Stats was the only reason I’ve used the plugin for more than 15 years. I understand your desire to make money, but it is unacceptable that you’re treating small personal blogs, or non-profits like large commercial sites.

Sorry to say that after 15 years, but it’s time to say goodbye.

We have .edu address as a higher education state public institution (of course we have a Donate button) so we are of course a full blown commercial operation now. I’m fine with that. Can I just disable stats in the module and continue to use the free version of Jetpack?

I work for the University of TN Health Science Center, we have received an email notice that our sites are commercial. All our WP sites are non commercial, and are part of a well known, public University. See for yourself at https://news.uthsc.edu/ and please properly reclassify our WordPress sites (*.uthsc.edu) as non commercial.
