How Do I Create A Community Site With Plugins and Mutilple Themes?

Hi All! I am Re-Creating my web community for Artists of all kinds, and I need REALLY Specific functions, themes, and plug-ins for this project. I am going to use Multiple WP Themes on certain pages. My HOME Page, Posts, and Categories through-out the site…(I’m Using The Johnradio Mulitple themes plugin for this) Next, I want artists/members to ALL have the ability to upload photos, music, videos, and files into Their Profiles Pages as well as into the WP Media Library, ALSO onto a Specified Page for Videos, Music, or photos etc… that will Display like the media gallery, or with profile photos next to them,,,Is There a plugin for this?….(What Plugin can I use for this?) They need the ability to add BIO’s and Artist Attributes to that same Profile Page near their Photo….I want ALL members to be able to sell their products/services through “THE MAIN SITES STORE” and WE (ADMIN) get a percentage from EVERY SALE from members that is 1st: Directly Deposited into our (ADMIN) Paypal Account…..and 2nd: Then the balence is Deposited directly into The Artists/members Paypal account for the sale made….How do we set up multiple Paypal Accounts other than the Primary ADMIN Paypal Account? Which Plugin(s) do we need to accomplish this? We already have (WP Digital Access pass, Marketpress, and emember plugins) What Is The Best or Best Combination to use to get this to work? We also need a members PROFILE PAGE plugin that looks good to viewers, and is easy to set-up and use. Something that DOESN’T look like Buddypress, or WP Symposium. We need a PROFILE PAGE Specific plugin if possible or a membership plugin that has a great profile page look, set-up, and features. I have tried MANY Plugins and options to No Avail…and still haven’t been able to create and launch my website WITHOUT Flaws because plugins DON’T Work alone or together with other plugins. I Pray some WP GURU have the answers we need to go forward with this project and make it a SUCCESS, and Many More coming Right After This One Is Done! Thanks In Advance Blessings Good People. building "community" site for small Association

I’m new to WordPress — doh — and want to use it to assemble a “community” site for a small Association. I’ve looked at plug-ins for many of the various parts for what I think of as a “community” site. What I’m not finding are what I call silos of plug-ins oriented toward a given family of sites. Family is my word. A “family” might be a small store, a simple blog, a social networking site, a project site, or similar.

I found BuddyPress &Co. It and its related plug-ins comes close to being a community site collection of plug-ins. I’m not being successful finding other items similar to BuddyPress. Any suggestions?

How do folks sort out the 42 variants of the various site features?
For example, there are so many “calendars” and “messaging” and “syndication” and …

Best way to connect your site (buddypress-like)

Hey.
I have messed around with a theme, now that I’m finished after a few days, I face a problem.
I’m building a blog/community site, and I’d want to connect the whole site (blog, forums, profiles) all into one.
Like buddypress does.
So that people won’t have to register to my forum, for the blog, you get my point.

So my theme doesn’t support buddypress out of the box, what can I do?
I’d prefer to use my existing phpbb forum instead of bbpress as I don’t like it at all.

Do you have any ideas how I could do this?
A generalized menu/control panel structure like buddypress has in the top of your page would be ideal, but I’m ready to sacrifice it for not using bbpress.

Any ideas, oh and the theme I’ve been working on is Arras, I made a child theme to it.

Hi I’m looking for a good Community Forum Plugin, i’d like the following features:

– SEO Friendly URL’s
– User has the ability to upload their own user image.
– Forum works directly with the theme you use no need for modification.

Any other tips and ideas for making a cool community would be appreciated.

As a trainer for web design I recently launched a site for my trainées not least demonstrating how to setup a WP site literally overnight. When a trainée registers I assign her or him author rights. You find a list of installed plugins under the navigation topic “über team.eliZZZa”.
