Contact – show after quiz – not working

Hi,

The plugin is awesome in so many ways, however I’m having a little trouble with the contact form appearing before, not after the quiz.

I have set the option to ‘after’, but it has no effect. It seems to work only until I modify the button labels.

I have to modify those labels, because the quiz is in Polish.

Also, the contact form is showing placeholders (duplicates of the labels) even though they’re set to empty.

I’ve had problems with this plugin for years. It can appear simple at first but so many times has required a load of custom code to sort the formatting properly and to get it looking right on all devices. This always takes ages – googling it and finding loads of other people posting that they can’t do simple things and never any solution. It should not require so much fannying about! The support website is useless, too.

I have several Meow plugins including some of the PRO versions, so I thought I’d try this one! This is an easy-to-use plugin that has a simple elegance. I do wish it had a Cloudflare option as well as Captcha v3 but don’t let that put you off. Get it!

Error with the contact form

Hola,

He introducido el shortcode de Contact form 7 en la página de contacto pero cuando intento enviar un correo aparece: “Ha ocurrido un error al intentar enviar tu mensaje. Por favor, inténtalo de nuevo más tarde.”

He instalado un plugin de email logs y no aparece ningún problema, aparecen los emails recibidos y enviados, aunque realmente no están llegando.

Utilizo un email propio del domino, que puede ser?

While looking for something somewhat unrelated to this, I came across an issue with our contact page… it doesn’t contact us. I tried to send a test E-mail through it to my work E-mail address but nothing came through. After digging a little, I see that the contact E-mail was originally set up as an old defunct E-mail address that our former pastor used, but even after updating the E-mail address in the WP Forms builder, adding a new WPForm to the contact page to replace the old one, and refreshing everything (with test E-mails sent between each of those steps to see if any of them worked), it’s still not coming through.
Will updating the E-mail address in a form reflect immediately or is there a cooldown period that I have to wait for before it’ll work? I can’t figure out why it’s not working.

I am using Lodestar theme and I have my contact number displayed at the top of the website, by using “Theme Options” –> “Header Top Text” and then putting my contact number in the text box. By doing this, the number properly appears in the website. However, the challenge is that this is not a clickable link, due to which I am not getting calls and also having issues in my Google Search ads. Need guidance on how to make this phone number as clickable, so that it directly opens the phone dialer when people click on the phone number. Look forward to suggestions.

Hi,

My question might be very easy to answer but I can’t find the solution online…

I’ve created a contact page on Worpress ( Elementor theme) with the plugin WP Mail STMP ( link to my mail, fully functioning etc….).

However, I’ve realised that the only link working is the “contact button” on the header menu. On every others pages, I’ve add other contact buttons (with the link to the page) but everytime it direct me to the ” wordpress login page” instead on the contact form.

I’m not sure how to fix this issue…

2 Questions:

I’ve been unable to find this in the documentation or videos unless I missed it. I created a WP contact form. I see the embed button but it only gives choices for pages on my site. How do I connect it to my “Contact Me” button so that it comes up when someone clicks the button? I do know how to write code for clickable email and phone call links but not sure where to put it. Or is there a better way to do this other than the form or code?

I have two sets of social media icons. One is on the left side of the home page and are vertically stacked. The others are below my profile pic (and I’ve entered my social media URLs on them) Are the social media icons on the left from your theme or from a plugin I have installed? I can’t find an installed social media plugin and did not install one intentionally. Do you know how to disable the vertically stacked icons on the left?? I want to use the icons below my profile picture instead.
