Restricting what editors can do

I’m moving a non-profit’s site to FSE. There are multiple people who need to be able to edit pages. I need for them to be able to change text or swap images without being able to mess up the design. No inserting new blocks except paragraphs. No changing the settings or styles of existing blocks. I would really appreciate some advice form anyone managing a FSE corporate or media site with multiple editors. Obviously I’d like it if this could be done in WP core but I don’t have a problem using a plugin if needed.

Not enough space to edit content in WordPress

For some time, when I’m using WP there’s so much junk beneath the editing space that I can barely see the content that I’m managing (see image – https://bit.ly/373UTpR). I don’t have the vocabulary to even look up the proper name for all the white bars taking up space, so I had to add a new post.

What are these bars called? What did I do to invoke them? and how do I hide them so that I can work more comfortably?

Totally usable in the non paid version, but worth it after buying.

There’re some problems like with custom table cols’ headers, but they’re minor.

Creating a Custom Page

I’m trying to create a custom page within the Bones theme. An html5 mobile friendly theme. I need to create a full width page with header and footer and no sidebar? Simple right? I’ve created a new template and entered this bit of code.

get_footer(); ?>

The idea is that I can use a visual composer to fill in the content space. The issue is nothing is showing up in the content. Can anyone give me code that includes, header, footer and allows for content editing?

Easy Modal Pro: how to add shortcodes etc. to forced login-modal?

We need to add the ability for social login (e.g. Facebook etc) which is in fact way more important than the native WP-login.

I couldn’t find any way to customize the force login-modal and that was the reason I bought your plugin.

I read all the docs, this forum, went through all the settings but no. I can’t figure out how to get that juicy post-editing input area also into the options of the login modal.

The same issue will hit us when doing the registration: we need to ask all kinds of extra bits of information and there are plugins for that. But how to add them to the modal reg-dialog?

Please! Save my life! (well, that’s a bit dramatic but your plugin seemed so promising…)

Editing the Sidebar in a Content/Sidebar Template

I chose the template “Content/Sidebar”, but I don’t know where to edit the sidebar. It currently just shows my archive. I left the site posted here with the issue as it appears.

Installing and Editing a Theme

Need some help in installing a free theme that I found while surfing. Would love to upload to my server, but don’t know how. Would love to know how to edit the content such as headers, etc to more suit what I would like it to be. Can anyone advise me on this, I already have dl the theme and it is in a folder on my hd. The server does have fantastico btw but I have other wpinstalls on the server. Thanks

First time install of WordPress for a client and Im having problem working out how to link to a another page. When I click on the link button in the editor it gives me the option to type in the URL which is alright if I was running the site, but my client may have some probs..

I was wondering if there is a plug in available that makes linking to pages a lot easier, ie if you click on the insert link it gave you a list of pages and posts that are in the site and you could click on to create your link.

Has this been done and I have overlooked it?
