Role contributor can’t save/import containers.

I have given my employee the Contributor role. She is supposed to create various sub-pages and is welcome to use existing containers from other pages. For example, she cannot save a container from the home page to the library and then import it into a new page.

I have not found an option in the Members settings that allows me to do this. Can you help me here?

Page content disappears after submitting for review

Hey everyone!
I have a user role “Contributor” where each time they edit or post any pages or posts, it will be submitted to review first for the Admin to approve.
Now when this user does anything and submits it to review, the page content disappears entirely, only when it’s approved by the admin that it will show up back again, essentially it will not show the last approved version.
I’ve tried to search online to see if anyone had the same problem but no luck.

Any ideas on how i can fix this?

Meta field doesn’t display when logged in as author / contributor

I have installed this plugin, which seemed perfect to me, only to display a small text line in a custom way inside the loop (just like a subtitle). BUT, when an author (ie not administrator) writes a post, the custom meta field won’t show.
I had to instal ACF to display the “meta field” panel. My development skills are limited (especially with Gutenberg), but maybe someone has a workaround ?
It’s always disappointing to install an plugin that contains 20MB of code just to display a meta field…

How can I see a Contributor’s post all together?

I have a site where multiple contributors post articles. At the bottom of each post, it says “By ”. The name is hyperlinked and I thought if I clicked on that it would automatically show me all articles written by that Contributor together. But that’s not the case and instead, I get redirected to my site’s homepage. I tried playing around with the settings but couldn’t find anything to help me out. Can someone here help?

Gallery plugin missing for contributors

I found that my contributors had access to “Pages” and were uploading items there that were going live direct to my site instead of posting via “Posts” where only I can publish their articles.

I went into Capabilities and removed their access to “Pages,” however it has also removed their ability to attach a NextGen gallery to their article or even upload a gallery to WordPress at all.

I have tried to reverse what I did, but can’t get it to work. Any ideas how I can enable them to access the gallery plugin and be able to attach them to their posts?

Merge www.ads-software.com account for Themes

Is it possible to merge 2 account for Theme Development and how?

Example: Account A with 3 themes and Account B with 2 Themes. I would like to merge the Themes created in one account or make Account B a contributor (like in the plugin) or add as admin to Account A.

Posts not visible after deleting capabilities for other parts

Hello

I tested your free plugin.

My set up is : WP with Business Directory Plugin (creates a subscriber role ) and Divi Extra Login module (creates a contributor role).

When I go to Custom Post types for Contributor then I have several options like: Directory, Projects etc. I can check Create, Delete and Edit these capabilities. If I uncheck them under the option Directory or Projects then for the Contributor role I can not see the option Posts too in the WP dashboard.

Is there a way to solve this?

Created contributor role and assigned it to member, still not able to write post

HI,

I would like to allow my members to be contributor (to only write post without accessing wp admin). So firstly, I assigned the default wordpress “contributor” role to my members, and my members are able to see the top admin bar in front-end but not able to add new post. (The page only refresh and shows nothing when they click the “add post”)

Then, I created a new role in Ultimate member , and at the wp capabilities section, I checked “edit_posts” “edit_others_posts” “upload_files” , and assigned this role to my members, but my members still couldn’t add post. (same situation as above).

Any other way I can do to let my members able to write post without accessing wp admin?
