I have a problem with the plugin Contus Video Gallery (https://de.www.ads-software.com/plugins/contus-video-gallery/).

I am using the current version (3.0) of the plugin.

When I am navigating to the video site the player only shows “There is an Error in loading config.xml”.

Any idea what to do?

Double initialization of comment app (disqus)

Hello,
I get over a dozen notices in console on an “unsafe attempt to redefine existing module”
I believe this is because I am already using the disqus plugin, and the implementation in contus is trying to reinitialize.
Can you do any of the following
1. Implement a check in code to see if the disqus jss are already loaded, and if they are, then don’t attempt to reinitialize
2. Provide an option in the UI, where a user can manually set if he wants contus to load the comment type’s javascripts, or not.

FYI, I have observed this happen in other plugins.

Javascript conflict in admin

Hello,
Great work guys. I am running the contus video gallery 2.8.1.
In admin, when I navigate to the contus playlist (or any contus) page, my wordpress sidebars fail to work properly; when I navigate to another page (non video gallery), then everything is fine.
Also, I observed that it conflicts with other plugins like the wordpress admin.php, suprascrappr plugin and it tick wp-auth-check off – see the screenshot of chrome’s console attached. https://postimg.org/image/s1t4tqx3x/
Unfortunately, I don’t have any other browser to test in
Kindly help look into this

Videos Do Not Show Up Within Categories

I have videos added to 4 categories but none of them show up. The page shows the Name of the category and blank space underneath. In the back end, videos say they are saved and published but nothing shows up on the front end. Can you please advise?

Uploading vs Custom URL..

I have uploaded files via ftp, they are considerable in size in F4V format. The playlist is not showing up, says there is no playlist ive used the following tags

[categoryvideothumb type=category id=8] – where 8 is the id of my uploaded video.

[hdvideo id=18] – where 8 is the id of my video

Not sure how to resolve this. Id like to upload the file but it times out
so ftp is a must but then i need to use the custom url. Based on how i typed it out it seems exact. Is there a folder i should be placing these videos in for it to work?

Weird urls, contus video gallery

Hello,

Last week I removed all excisting youtube videos (which came with the install) and uploaded my own with youtube links.
But the urls are f..ked up, the urls look like this:
https://www.example.com/revision/51426-revision-v1/
https://www.example.com/attachment/involvimentu-di-mayor-poster-2013-na-papiamentu/

or just empty :
https://example.com///

Can’t find anything about it… a 99 dollar plugin just has to work.. please help,

1. what are differences in functionalities beteween free and commercial versions?

2. is it possible remove Posted On and Posted By from video presentation?

3. is it possible to change color of video excerpt? now is red

Add Dailymotions Videos to Contus Video Gallery 2.3.1

Hi,

I installed Contus Video Gallery and tried to add Dailymotion video to the site. Still my site is in under construction(localhost). I am unable to add the videos i have uploaded to the dailymotion to my site.

I used the Url of DailyMotion (as youtube) and added it in the ‘Add Videos using Custom URL’ section. But it didn’t work. Message is displayed as Video is not found.

Please help on this issue? Can we add a video using Embedded code to the contus video gallery. If it is, how can we do that?
