Only new uuploaded images are showing as .webp

optimized the images on my website using the Optimize Images & Convert WebP plugin, performed bulk optimization, and as far as I understand, it should have converted the images to .webp format. However, while in the library, the old images are shown as ‘optimized’ and ‘converted to .webp,’ but these images still open as .jpg or .png. New images, on the other hand, open immediately in .webp format.

I converted many categories to tags for many many posts. But all the posts disseppeared. How can I find them? Even I turn again tags to category, there is no post to convert. Where the posts were stored?

Hi,

I have set my wordpress site to be in USD by default and I would like to just be having USD into my account as well. By having the currency converted in the checkout page, lets say it is converted to AUD now. May I know if this is just a front end display currency for the customer or it will cause the customer to pay in AUD and having me receive my money in AUD?

I recently converted 37000 images one nigt, and wanted to delete the converted images sources yes. But that option isnt there. You deleted all my new webp images.

Your UX is bad, Im sorry. You should describe clearly whats going on. I just wasted one night work.

The idea is to use only webp images. I see it uses them on the compatible browsers. but hey. Please make an update where u CLEARLY EXplain what u delete. Or send me your coffemoney back.

Hi, In a custom post type post, the URL to redirect to contains some ‘&’ to separate the URL parameters.

These will be converted to

&.

How change that?

and the URL parameters won′t work any more.

hi, i have been following this tutorial:

i have follow step 1 and have installed your plugin.
i have some questions:

(1) i have multiple jpg/png files in multiple posts.
after i convert into WebP, i would have old files in jpg/png format right? but it will create a mess in upload folder.
you have remove original file option, if i use that option. will it break my post images?
i mean do i needs to update my posts to new converted webp image link?

(2) and most importantly what if i deactive/delete eww plugin will it delete converted webp image also?

what should i do?

2 images not converted to .webp on the home page

Hello,

On the home page of my site, there are 2 images that do not convert to .webp even though they are well located in the wp-content/uploads file.

This one, which is a banner that appears when I don’t put the image of an article forward (and on which is located the logo of the site, which is well converted to .webp)

And this one, which is the image of the highlighted article
=> https://i69.servimg.com/u/f69/11/39/41/06/imagif12.jpg

The other images, which are also in the wp-content/uploads directory, are well converted to .webp
Ex : => https://i69.servimg.com/u/f69/11/39/41/06/imagif13.jpg

Yet, the folder is 100% converted
=> https://i69.servimg.com/u/f69/11/39/41/06/imagif14.jpg

I tried to disable the CDN (Amazon Cloudfront associated with Wp Rocket), Autoptimize too, but it doesn’t change anything.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem? These are the 2 heaviest images on the page that are not converted to .webp at the moment

We have a non-profit site with a subset of members that post by mail via postie.

Unfortunately there are some subjects that tend to be “standard” or frequently used as in today’s case “Sad News” when there is a death being reported.

The problem I am seeing is Postie is matching the incoming email to a wordpress post from April 2017 instead of the one posted today. There was an earlier post on Oct 6, 2015 which Postie did not match so I can guess you must limit the possible matches.

I wonder if Postie finds multiple matches to a post title, you it be changed to use the latest date match instead?

Years ago, back in the Postie 1.4 days, I modified my copy of postie to do that, but eventually realized it was a mistake to maintain my own version. Your postie filters have been a great help, but I have not found a way to match email replies using them.

Thanks for continuously updating postie Wayne. It is a much more reliable and effective plugin since you became author.

PDF Problem

Wht can’t I open a PDF file and insert it to a page on my web site please, does WP not accept PDF’s or do they have to be converted or what ever please??

Hi,

After the latest update I get these two messages

The tags system needs to be converted. Please run Photo Albums -> Settings admin page Table VIII-B16
The cats system needs to be converted. Please run Photo Albums -> Settings admin page Table VIII-B17

and no matter if i follow the steps in the table Table VIII-B16 and B17 it won’t work.

Warning messages still show up!
