Warning in plugin on update to 4.6.2

Since updating to WP 4.6.2 and Lottiefiles 2.8.0, I get the following php warning:

Warning: Undefined property: stdClass::$enableCdn in wp-content/plugins/lottiefiles/src/gutenberg-block/init.php on line 70

The plugin now seems to be breaking the editor styles for core blocks. Disabling the Lottiefiles plugin restores the admin styles for core blocks.

WordPress core updates not working — even after disabling EUM

I uninstalled EUM (but did not delete it from plugins) and the normal WP update in the Updates menu shows the current version as 5.8 but does not give me an option to update it. When I re-activate EUM this does not change — and EUM does not allow me to select any of the options under “WordPress core updates” — thus the core is never updating.

I’ve tried Excluding an admin user from the plugin and then logging in as that user. Same issue.

I don’t care if I have EUM running — I just want to update the WP core manually when it needs updating.

5.8.3 update kicked me out of admin

I updated WordPress 5.5 a few days but facing a problem when I update/edit a post on my website.

On our website, when we try to update our blog some of the plugins can kill our update process and we have to connect with ssh and update manually or with wp-cli.

Please make sure Plugins won’t be the part of the updating process.

Unable to Update WordPress core

HI,

I’m using WP Staging on several sites and have not had this problem before. I like to check some new versions of WordPress on the staging site before I update on the live site. However, I ran into a problem yesterday where the update fails with this message

Installation Failed

I contacted my VPS server support and checked everything I could think of on my end – error logs, PHP error monitoring, etc. I found and cleared up a few other errors or warnings, but, no errors appear to be generated when attempting the update. Plugins and themes updated with no problem, only WP core will not update. I am on a Litespeed server and have LS cache installed, but have caching disabled on the staging site.

I could do a manual update, but, would like to figure out the problem if possible. I just did a WP core update on another staging site on the same server and it updated with no problem. Can you give me some ideas as to what I might check?

WordPress core updates overwriting custom theme styles

Hi all!

I hope you’re safe and well!

I’m working on a site with a custom theme, based on the Underscores theme. There are no other themes installed, but when I run a core WordPress update (5.3 to 5.4) the stylesheet in the custom theme’s directory is overwritten and replaced with the Twenty Nineteen stylesheet.

When I look at the installed theme from the dashboard, it says TwentyNineteen/mythemename. Before the update, it was just mythemename.

I’ve tried installing a default theme and reinstalling the core update to see if this fixes the issue but no luck.

Does anybody know why the stylesheet is being overwritten?
