For blocking countries, where are the IP tables stored, on our local servers or on CleanTalk servers? I need to use this feature but my resources could not handle storing these IP address lists for multiple countries.

Starlink IP addresses being blocked

I’ve noticed that some Starlink IP addresses are being blocked via WordFence Country Blocking when they should not be. London/United Kingdom is an allowed location on our website, however Wordfence is blocking 209.198.129.* because it thinks this IP is not in the UK… which it is. Even Wordfences own reporting says it’s a ‘London/United Kingdom’ IP.
There seems to be some conflict/disconnect between what is reported and what is blocked.

Is the Country blocking feature compatible with cache plugins? I’m planning to use the Country blocking + Maxmind Geolite2 data integration in my site.

Normally, there are problems with country blocking and caching on other plugins due to the nature of caching is that a dynamically build web page is cached into a static page.

General options missing

I can no longer find the place on the free plugin where I block emails from specific countries. Has this moved or am I missing something. Before there was a general options screen where I defined this. But it not there anymore. Any help much appreciated.

Hi Team,

I am using Wordfence premium for security and GTranslate for Multilanguage in my WordPress website.
I have implemented country blocking feature from Wordfence for my website(www.xyz.com) and it is working fine.

But at the same it also blocks my website Spanish version (www.xyz.com/es) for all countries. I am willing to apply same blocking rules to my Spanish version as same are working for my main website.

Any relevant information will be a great help.

Hello,

I had downloaded this plugin and created an account at Maxmind, verified and ectivated the license. I then chose the countries I wanted to block in the appropriate fields as instructed. However, the plugin is not blocking those countries from my website.

What can I do to rectify this issue?

Hello,

I signed up to try out Defender 3 days ago and activated the “country blocking” feature in the Firewall. However, according to my Google Analytics, those countries are still able and are accessing my site.

Please note that I did sign up to a free maxmind.com account and applied their license to my site which was supposed to enable the “country blocking” feature.

Any advice on how to rectify the situation would be greatly appreciated.

I have been trying out several of the better known Country Blocking plugins in the recommended list from www.ads-software.com. They were all dependent on some other product to work fully, and then they missed most of the hackers coming in internationally. This plugin, although relatively new to the market just worked like a charm with a simple country allow/deny table. My hacker volume has gone from hundreds per day to practically zero. Thank you very much. You have made my life much easier and productive. I will be buying the Pro version and putting a link to this up as one of my recommended plugins on my website.

Ich habe die Schutzeinstellungen beim web-application-firewall verstellt und kann mich jetzt nicht mehr einloggen.

Leider bin ich kein Profi und kenne mich in der Materie nicht gut aus.
Ich habe vorsichtshalber die Datenbank als SQL-Datei exportiert und gesichert.

Habt Ihr eine M?glichkeit die web-application-firewall auszuschalten um mich wieder einloggen zu k?nnen.
