I buy most of my tracks trough iTunes and some from other reputable, Japanese music providers. My tracks have complete metadata yet only about 60% of the cover art appears in the player.

I bought the PROXY addon but it changes nothing.

Thanks for the plugin JSON Content Importer, is something I was really looking for.
My problem is that I am trying to retrieve the cover art of an azuracast stream.
It works, but it doesn’t change while the songs changes. I mean, only charge when you load the page. How to setup the “refreshing” time?

Trouble changing cover art

Hi,

I updated the cover art of my podcast, but it never updated in some apps like Apple Podcasts and Pocket Casts.

Podbase, a site that analyses podcasts’ RSS, shows an error in cover art related to iTunes:

Darn, I wasn’t able to retrieve the image (got a “getimagesize(https://manualdousuario.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/MDU-Guia-Pratico-S3.jpg): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! ” error). If you’re sure it’s there, please report using the "?" in the lower-right corner.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a plugin’s problem?

Olayer FM does not update podcast cover art

I have recently changed my cover art for my podcast (powered by the PowerPress plugin at my self hosted site.

The change was reflected in iTunes and Spotify and in Google Podcasts.

But in Player FM the old cover art seems to be stuck.

How can I force the cover art update there?

Episode images are not showing up

I have a unique image for each podcast episode but they are not showing up in iTunes or any other podcast app, just the default podcast cover art shows up. Is there a setting for blurry that I am missing to register the Episode images? The image url for each episode is placed in the “Poster Image” field as well as being the featured image for the post.

WordPress Is Separating Cover Art from MP3 Upon Upload

After the last update to WordPress, a wierd behavior surfaced. Every time I upload an MP3 with embedded cover art, the art gets separated from the MP3 and they now become two objects in the Media Gallery (the MP3 and the cover art image) as opposed to just the single MP3 file. Additionally, now both files have no image displayed. I can still play the MP3 file, but there’s no cover art. When I try to access the separated image, via the link that’s automatically created, there’s nothing there.

Any ideas? I run a radio station, so having these MP3s in our podcast directory, hosted on our WordPress site is pretty important to us. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much, in advance.

Is there a way to access a series’ cover art form the series taxonomy page? I’ve gone through the Filter Reference, and I’m not sure I’d understand it if it’s there. So I was hoping someone might be able to tell me how to call it so I can display the cover art for each podcast when looking at a list of episodes from the that podcast.

wordpress 4.3 favicon overrides cover art

Using the new customize feature in wordpress 4.3 to insert a favicon seems to override the podcast cover art provided by sermon manager. After doing the customize the image shown in the iPad podcast app is no longer the 1400×1400 cover art image it used to be, but a very low res version of the favicon.

The “correct” artwork is still there in the itunes store, but if you subscribe to that podcast, the artwork shown in the app isthe favicon, not the podcast artwork.

Looking at the feed the image looks OK.

Bizarrly, the iTunes program on the PC still shows the correct cover art in all the right places.

This may be complicated by the fact that I am useing feedpress to relocate my feed.

I’ve tried removing the favicon, but that now just leaves an empty cover art image in the iTunes app.

The problem seems to be that wordpress is now inserting
