Disable User from Changing Cover Picture Armember

I have set a default cover picture for user profiles on my website, but users are currently able to change it. I would like to find a way to disable this functionality so that users cannot change the cover picture once it has been set.

Could you please advise on how I can prevent users from changing their cover picture while still allowing the default to be displayed?

Cover photo appears in black and white

I added a cover photo on the homepage of stucspeciaal.nl in the twenty twenty-one theme, but somehow wordpress removes all colour from the photo. I removed the opacity of the overlay. With this the darkness disappeared, bu the image remained black and white. Strangely, when I switch on the fixed background, the colour appears (but with the fixed background on the focus of the image changes in a way I don’t like).

Can someone please help me with this problem?

Plugin shows outdated cover picture

Your plugin is great. However, it does not show the correct cover/logo picture as defined in Google My Business. In case of the above website it shows an outdated cover picture of the site and no picture at all for the affiliate site dahme-strandwiese.de – both implemented in the footer.
Moreover, at dahme-strandwiese.de the plugin shows different but also outdated pictures despite the same settings as at dahme-seesternweg.de
I think your plug-in shows the cover pictures that were used at the time of installation but never makes an update.
How can I fix this without deleting and installing from scratch?

Width-to-height ratio cover image

My question is this:

What is the width-to-height ratio of the images in the template Full with with cover picture?

I tried with 4:3, but that doesn’t seem to be right; the top and bottom are cut off.

Which ratio do you use? Or which pixel mass?

Cover image on tag based gallery

Hi,
I wanted to create several tag based galleries (with no album). It works well except that I could not find a way to set a cover image for the gallery (Tried with Albumslistmasonry). Only the title preceded by a hash sign is displayed.
If I use ‘Categories’ instead of ‘tags’ in the Query I do get a cover picture that seems to be incrementally selected and that changes every time I hit the save button.
I have tried to add some CSS with the .gmAlbumsViewFLAccordionAlbumCover class,
but my CSS knowledge is still so poor I couldn’t get anything working *-(
I have just bought Albumsgrid4, but it didn’t help in this particular situation.

Is there a way to set a cover picture for these types of tag and/or categorie based galleries?

Hi, I’d like to switch to mins theme but am having trouble figuring out how to add a “cover” picture on front page. I tried mins but switched back to current theme – Radcliffe – when I couldn’t get that to work.

I tried using a header image and resizing but it wasn’t mobile responsive and I plan to remove headers from all other pages…so not sure the best way to make this happen.

Edit all users’ profile and cover images as an admin

Hi! I’m moving my site from one domain to another, and installed ProfileGrid on the destination domain (the source domain uses a different user managing plugin, which is causing me a lot of problems). I’ve cloned the site, and after installing and activating ProfileGrid, the most important users’ fields (names, passwords, descriptions,…) are perfectly imported, but some are not. My biggest concerns are the users’ profile and cover images, which look empty after installing ProfileGrid.

In the WordPress Users tab, I can update manually the rest of the fields, except the profile and cover images, which seem to be updated only from the frontend when the user is logged in, as it involves the cropping process. The problem is, I can’t log in as each user.

Being the admin of my site, is there any way to edit all the users’ profile and cover image fields from the frontend, or even to edit those fields from the backend -the WP Users tab? Since the images are cropped, I guess the backend way is not possible.

I love this plugin. When I started my project, it wasn’t still released, and it’s worth making the effort to perform this transition from my old users’ managing plugin to ProfileGrid. If I achieve this, I’ll be happy to buy the awesome Extensions Bundle.

Profile card cover picture quality

The cover photos which appear on the profile cards on the members page appear to be aliased down to a lower quality than they appear on the actual profile pages themselves. The pictures appear slightly grainy and less sharp. This happens on both Chrome and Firefox.

I have the quality setting for photos in the uploads menu set to 100, but that does not seem to change things.

Any way to change this behavior?

Settings >> Appearance >> Profile >> Profile Default Template >> Profile Cover Photos (on/off)

Still cover picture is being displayed on user profile ?

I have installed the plugin and everything works as I would expected but when you comment on a post, it goes to FB with a random picture, NOT the featured picture referencing the post.

Is there a way of changing this, or adding a static picture of fixing the problem.
