Getting critical error message only on /tag and /category urls

I am getting “There has been a critical error on this website.” message only on /tag and /category urls. Sometimes it works and then it goes right back to that error message. Any other url is fine. I have run the debugging but nothing relevant is coming up. Any ideas?

Critical error after activating (3 different) themes WP 6.7

New/clean install of WP from Softaculous/cpanel on a “testing folder”

My customer would like to use the template monster (free) theme (linked above). They have also chosen 2 other themes of interest. All 3 cause a critical error and WP goes dark. Resetting the theme to any “stock” theme (23,24,25) brings everything back.

The theme uses Cherry (3.1.5.1) as the main framework. Activating just the Cherry theme also throws critical error.

I am leaving the error message at the domain since this is just testing and not live AND I have enabled verbose errors (in PHP) which gives more info.

I am assuming that the theme is not compatible with WP 6.7 or PHP 8.1. Before I move away from what my customer has chosen as their starting point (or roll back the WP install to an earlier version), I thought I would ask “the heard” if they think the same and that I am on the right track with this. I am going to keep working so the error may change or even disappear (oh I wish)

V2.6.13 causes a ctritical error on the website

Hi there,

First of all, thanks for a great plugin. We only use it for a couple of translations in Learndash (changing a few buttons), but it does the job very well!

Installing 2.6.12 wiped out our translations, so we entered them again.

Unfortunately, installing 2.6.3 caused a critical error on the website after installation, including on the admin side. We had to FTP into the website, rename the plugin folder, re-install V2.6.12 and all went back to normal.

Please fix ASAP!

Getting Error after activating Daily Prayer time in Qwery theme

I activated a plugin called ‘Daily Prayer Time’ on my multisite network, and I worked on it quite a bit. After a few days, it started showing a critical error on my website whenever I try to activate it. Could you check what might be causing the conflict that’s resulting in this error? I’ve attached a screenshot of the error as well. Additionally, this same plugin is activated within another theme on the same multisite, and it’s working fine there.

I’ve tried unplugging all plug ins, changed themes and deactivating plug ins and themes that aren’t needed/being used but whenever I try going into my cart or checkout it still shows the Critical Error message. I haven’t been able to figure out what is causing it. I never got a notification or email about this error, when I was in editor it was showing up fine, but when I’m in as a visitor/live mode is when it comes up so I didn’t know about this for a few weeks.

I’m trying to list form entries in the backend with your plugin. If you select a form in one language, then you use the language switcher on the top of the screen -> There has been a critical error on this website, please contact the administrator.

Plugin version: 1.9.2
WordPress version: 6.4.3 (also 5.8.7)

Expected result: Not a critical error, but something more friendly: show the first page of the plugin in selected language, instead of trying to open the current form/entries in the chosen language.

Hello, This shortcode has always worked on our page, [zotpress author=”james r. heath” download=”yes” cite=”yes” title=”yes” collections=”2RQKSFR5″ sortby=”date” sort=”desc”] but just recently we noticed it throwing a critical error. The only thing I can figure is that the issue is caused by this publication which wasn recently added and has more than 1300 authors. Is there anything I can do to make that work? For now I have removed the shortcode from the page so that the page loads the other content.

Critical error from WooPayments after update

Hi, I created a staging in order to update in a safe way my shop.
WordPress and theme (BeTheme) are updated to the last version.
WooCommerce and Paypal for WooCommerce regularly updated without any issue.
WooPayments get a critical error during update. Can’t reach System Status data because the staging is currently blocked.
What can I do?
The site uses also LMS Learndash (regularly updated)
