And thanks for this plugin!
I’m using it to restrict access to some frontend pages based on user roles.
This works in preventing users to access the content on the page.
However,I would like to automatically redirect these users to a login page, if they do not belong to any of the allowed user roles for that page. Would that be possible via code?
Something like :
if
user is not in list of allowed roles for THIS page)
then
redirect to specific page
Thanks,
Carlo

I cant seem to find the field name when populating in the “send additional fields” of the sync. When looking for this field “ws_plugin__s2member_profile_s2member_ccaps” I cant seem to get them to connect and push the contents of the field to mailchimp.

]]>I’m trying to integrate woocommerce with a membership plugin (optimizeMember).
It uses wordpress’ custom capabilities to give permission to specific courses.
How can I set woocommerce to add a user specific custom capabilitie after purchase? If it is not possible, can I run custom php script after purchase (script would add that Custom Capabilitie via optimizeMember API)

Gravity Forms plugin adds a bunch of capabilities (https://docs.gravityforms.com/role-management-guide/) to WordPress but they are not visible in the Capabilities section of the main panel of AAM UI. Modern Tribe events calendar also introduces custom capabilities and they are all visible in AAM UI. Gravity Forms is recommending Members plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/members/) to for role management but we are already using AAM pro and don’t want to use another plugin for the same job. Can you tell me why we can’t see gravity forms capabilities in AAM UI?
Thanks
]]>Our site uses custom role and capabilities by using Members plug-in. However, when I tried to assign manage_options capabilities to my custom role, the user of this role cannot show the Content Views option page but the option pages of other plug-ins are normally shown.
How can I solve this problem? We need to setup a custom role and capabilities for our client but need to use Content Views option page. Could you help me?

Could you add support for custom capabilities to your plugin as outlined here
https://justintadlock.com/archives/2009/09/18/custom-capabilities-in-plugins-and-themes which integrates support for adding custom capabilities to user roles, utilizing the Members plugin
https://en-au.www.ads-software.com/plugins/members/
A couple of other plugins I use already have support for this integrated. It is a very useful addition for any plugin.
Thanks
So my question is, what is the “Meta-name” for the Custom Capability field?
Ive tried:
ws_plugin__s2member_profile_s2member_ccaps
ws-plugin–s2member-profile-s2member-ccaps
And neither work, any ideas?
