I’m using a Query Loop to query a category from the JetPack Portfolio items in order to display “mission partners” for a church website. I’d like to have the results link to an external URL. I’m assuming, to do this I need to create a custom meta field for the Portfolio items that would house the external URL for each Portfolio item. Has anyone done something like this using the JetPack Portfolio?

Hello.

I would like to transmit an individually generated rating link via php code as an additional property to Klaviyo for some orders.

Similar to order meta. This is not an existing order_meta field. But the functionality is similar.
If necessary, we can also create a new order_meta field if there is no other way.

How can we modify the payload of an order that Klaviyo receives from WooCommerce? Is there a filter for this?

Exporting based off custom fields

I have a bit of a specific usecase here.

I’m using Advanced Checkout Fields to generate some additional fields for the user to enter ‘Names of submissions/Entry title’ at the checkout.

I would ideally like to be able to export the data having a new row for each one of these submission names.

It works like this, for example;

1. User adds 5 tickets to their cart.
2. At checkout, user enters a name for each ticket (submission)
3. Data is then exported and each row will be based on the quantity (5 in this example)
4. Columns would then be, (First Name / Last Name / Quantity / Entry Title)

Currently I’m getting it to export, but all 5 titles are in each row, whereas I would like a row for each entry title.

The metakey for each entry is unique and generates as (for example, in the case of 5 entries);
order_entrytitle_1_0
order_entrytitle_2_0
order_entrytitle_3_0
order_entrytitle_4_0
order_entrytitle_5_0

Could anybody assist with a way I could get this to export based on the above?

Set the New custom fields to Star_Rating, value is 4.
Set(input) the key on the Rating Settings to Star Rating, out focus the cursor, the key(Star_Rating) will disappear.

Hello, I am trying to add some customize fields at woocommerce check out page, Trying to follow woocommerce documentations sample code as well as other codes avaible through internet ,but none of them worked. To avoid theme or plugin conflict I also try the code at wordpress fresh installtion at local host. But no response. I have to populate the customized fields based on number of products selected on basket page , so I prefer solution through code rarther any plugin for customize filed

Hi,
Thanks to the explanation on your website how to add a custom field I got a VAT number (the custom field) to show on the invoice. (used the template action hook for a delivery date near the bottom – second to last ). Thank you for that.

How would I change this that so that the custom field only is shown when a value is entered in the check-out proces.
So if a company is ordering and adds a VAT number only in that case the custom fields and the preceding text is shown.

Hi, I would like to insert the httpv://youtube… inside the custom field and call/display it on the page using a Shortcoder plugin. I have read in FAQ to use lyte_preparse. I’m sorry to bother you, but I am not a coder. Where exactly should I input that preparse?

Right now, the httpv://youtube… is embedded on my post, It is working fine but location is not flexible. What I want to do is move it somewhere in the page, outside of the post content, and I can only do it via the Shortcode.

Post submission custom taxonomy won’t be applied

Hi. I was able to implement an important feature on my homepage with Forminator. Thank you very much.
I have a couple of questions while using it.

I created a form that does post submission on the front-end, which submits a Custom Post Type with a Custom Taxonomy (created using the ACF plugin). Inside this form, I have a Hidden Field with the custom taxonomy ID value and mapped it to the Post Data Custom Field so that the custom taxonomy is applied to the submitted post.

However, after submitting the form, the taxonomy is not being applied to the post properly. Despite the “post custom data” field inside the post being just well inserted the form value and even the taxonomy checkbox of the post was already checked on the submitted taxonomy ID value.

Meanwhile, If I go into the editor directly from the WP admin panel and save or update the submitted post without making any changes, then it is applied properly. In other words, if I update the post manually on the post editor page without any changes, everything works fine.

I contacted ACF plugin first and they suggested a couple of things to fix the issue, assuming it’s an update_post_meta function issue.

So,
Is there any way to update the taxonomy field using ACF plugin’s update_field() function instead of WordPress update_post_meta function?
Or, is there any way to have the save_post action fired after the form submission?
