I tried searching an answer to my question and watching some YouTube tutorials but I haven’t found anyone even mentioning it. If there’s another topic about it on here please direct me to it.
]]>How do I access these images? I need user uploaded images to be displayed in a gallery view in a different section of the website.
Any help or assistance is much appreciated!
Thanks
]]>Is there more information needed to use the custom .png folder?
I am not sure how to debug this plugin, but in reference to a post that was closed:
image output for my custom files is “Error loading”
I’ve tried uploading the files in both PNG-8 and PNG-24 using your exact image sizes from your included image folder.
Thanks
]]>1. When creating custom star images, should they be copied into the “cusri” folder using the same folder structure? That is, should I create folders named “20”, “40”, “60”, “80”, “100” and “189” under the “cusri” folder?
2. If so, should all of the png image files share the same filename within each of those same subfolders? That is, should they all be named, e.g., “21.png” but each placed into the separate subfolders?
Or should I be doing this differently?
Thanks!

]]>My problem is with custom images. I have been trying to figure it out for about a week now but haven’t been able to. I read through the previous posts with harley130 but I’m still having trouble. Here it goes:
I have a png image of an ice cream cone. One is fully colored and the one next to it is not. (I used the provided images as a template to create my image). My first problem is that the image will not show up if it is placed in the custom images folder provided. It will show up if I place it in the images folder with the plug-in provided images; however, it is very small. I tried to change the size with the settings in the plugin but it did not change the size. Then I tried to change the actual size of the image but this also did not change anything. Also, ever since I added my image to the folders, the rating doesn’t calculate. I switched back to using the star image, but it still doesn’t calculate.
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong?
Thanks for your help!

]]>I’m currently using my own images for the star rating displayed on the WordPress entry, as well as on the tool bar for adding new entries. The latter isn’t super important, just nice, but obviously the former *is* important, as I customized it for a reason.
I’ve avoided updating YASR since the last time I did, it wiped up the custom CSS code for it as well as the images. I had backups and was able to fix it quickly, but a few days later, another YASR update was put out and not wanting to have to fix it again, I stopped updating it.
I’d like to update it though, I’m currently running 0.6.5 of YASR while it’s up to 0.7.9 but I’m leery since I’m not sure if it’s going to wipe out the custom images again.
Is there a way to either request that it *not* do this, or is there a setting that I need to look for to prevent this from happening in the future? I’m very comfortable working with custom CSS or javascript or any code, so pointing me in the direction of it would be great.

]]>I mentioned this a couple of years ago without a response, but I see you’re replying to a lot of threads now and making updates to plugins so hopefully you can consider it
The plugin allows for custom ratings images by uploading them to the plugin folder. Every time you release a minor upgrade, these are lost and need to be reuploaded to prevent broken images throughout the site.
Are you able to rework this to either use a filter for adding custom images, or first check the theme directly for an image folder before the plugin directory like several other plugins do, or anything that will work longer term?
