I offer Real Estate photgraphy and other property services as part of my business. My website uses WordPress via Elementor as it enables me to get beautiful imagery. I realised I required an online booking service as the continual distraction from clients was affecting my productivity, so looked at various options before going down the Bookly route.

I must admit to not using Bookly to its full extent. I just use bookings, and the calendar however I do use three optional addd ons. The Custom Fields option for my clients, clients. i.e. the target addresses which require my services. The Google calendar addon to allow full synchronisation with my Google Calendar and finally the Client Cabinet. This is a very useful addon as it allows my client to login and list the jobs theyt have insttructed, and they can cancel or re-schedule forthcoming jobs if they need to do so.

The appearance is customisable, up to a point, and it does piick up the typefaces of the Global Theme your WP website uses, and the colours of Bookly can be changed. Additionally, if you are familiar with HTML, you can add bits of it in for links to T&C’s etc, or Cost pages (as I do).

Overall, a very flexible and powerful plugin which is very good value.

Would I buy it again?? Yes, without doubt. I haven’t found anything else that can do the same from within WordPress that has the flexibility Bookly has. Their Customer Support is also awesome too!!

This plugin is very easy to use. I love how customisable it is. I get to upload my logo, design the button, design my own email templates, use my own SMTP. Love this! Most of all its a premium plugin for FREE!

I like this theme and am using the free version for a client’s website. It’s easy to use and there’s a good range of customisation options, meaning you don’t have to resort to coding (in Additional CSS) too often. The default design is clean and simple and adaptable to a variety of uses.

I see some of these reviews have been upset at the Neve theme link which remains in the footer. I don’t object to this since I think it’s only fair to have a theme link when using a free theme. Also, you can add other content to the footer and customise its layout, which results in the Neve theme link being quite unobtrusive overall.

Having tried a number of events plugins, I found this one the best – 5 stars.

Why? Ease of use BUT also highly customisable. It feels like the developers have thought about how to make this plugin useful for all kinds of scenarios – this is really refreshing, and makes the plugin super useful for all kinds of applications. I’ve gone pro straight away as I can tell this is a quality product.

Been using this plugin for a couple of weeks now for a small site I maintain for a tour guide. It is really impressive, highly customisable, even to do things that it is not set up for out of the box. Really enjoying its functionality.

I have used both EventON and MEC extensively.

When I decided to launch a site that depended heavily on a calendar plugin I chose MEC because it is much more customisable than EventON.

But as many others have commented the support is terrible.

I have a major installation of the software and the site was effectively down after a bad upgrade and there was zero urgency in the support response.

There are several things to recommend this plugin. Customisation of display and Elementor integration being really good. BUT if you are starting out and if the event features is going to be mission critical for you, DO NOT use MEC unless you can do your own tech trouble shooting.

I looked around for a few filters before finding the WooBeWoo filters. Really appreciate how much flexibility there is – and how intuitive it is to set up. I did struggle integrating the widget but stuck it out because I really wanted this filter plugin above all others. Natalie at WooBeWoo stuck it out with me and went the extra mile to sort out the problem for me, much appreciated! Highly recommend.

Tried many themes in the last 10 years, but Astra has no substitute. Clean, light and customisable as one can wish. You can change the footer credit and backlinks, even in the free version!
I use it with Paid Membership Pro plugin to run a membership site and the Memberlite theme is recommended and created by the plugin developers, but I found Astra more suitable to it and every other plugin.
For customising the mobile menu a location for an off-canvas menu is provided and you have to create a separate menu for this location. The Primary menu doesn’t work here and in absence of a separate menu for the off-canvas menu, all paged are being shown to mobile visitors.
