My site is displaying content (https://masoncountyfocus.com/ )
but when I sign in my dashboard has basically disappeared.
I get a message to update to the latest version, but no link to make it happen. (I’m not sure what version I’m currently using. I hadn’t worked on the site for several months.)
The only items available on my Dashboard are the “Activity” listing of most recent changes, Word Press News, and the warning to “ask site admin to update WordPress.”
I am logged into the site as the admin. My host says they cannot help me.
I am using the Simplecatch theme and have no clue how to get control of my site back. All suggestions are appreciated.
]]>But still I can do nothing I can only see white pages in the dashboard and now also my website looks weird. Please help!!!
]]>I have read many other FAQs and posts on this site, but I don’t know how to fix my problem. I considered myself somewhat computer savvy until now.
That last time I edited my website was March 2015. I don’t use an FTP or shell to edit my website, I’ve always just visited https://www.echoesofchicago.org/wp-admin/index.php. But now when I visit that URL the menu options on the left side of the screen are there, but everything to the right of it is blank (see 1 in screenshot file)
https://www.echoesofchicago.org/wp-admin/about.php (it tells me I have WP version 3.3.1) (see 2 in screenshot file)
https://www.echoesofchicago.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack (see 3 in screenshot file). When I click the “connect to wordspress.com” button it takes me to https://jetpack.wordpress.com/jetpack.authorize/1/?response_type=code&client_id=105537481&redirect_uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.echoesofchicago.org%2Fwp-admin%2Fadmin.php%3Fpage%3Djetpack%26action%3Dauthorize%26_wpnonce%3D9fb42c98b3&state=1&scope=administrator%3Ac36128ee6fa4c7f7f4b19af9bd832f6f&user_email=echoes%40gmail.com. I click the “update jetpack now” button, but that takes me to https://www.echoesofchicago.org/wp-admin/plugins.php?s=jetpack. Again, the menu shows up on the left, but the right side of the screen is blank.
https://www.echoesofchicago.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=akismet-key-config (see 4 in screenshot file)
If I click any other menu items on the left side of the screen, the right side of the screen is blank.
I downloaded the newest version of WP to my computer hoping it would help but I don’t understand what to do next (if this is even a solution).
Thank you very much for your time and consideration!

]]>I just switched my blog to www.ads-software.com, kept the same domain name (www.thankfulhomemaker.com) and still forwarded my old blogger blog. My whole blog is now missing since I renewed the domain through WordPress.com. They sent me to www.ads-software.com to figure out the situation.
I believe my domain may have been moved to BlueHost when my blog designer switched my blog over. She is no longer in business to reach out to on this one. It looks like BlueHost has my domain but WordPress.com says they have the domain still.
I am waiting to hear back yet from Bluehost to see if my blog exists somewhere still. I can’t get into my dashboard and this was the login url I used -https://50.87.248.165/%7Ethankfv2/wp-login.php
Any guidance on where to begin would be greatly appreciated.
]]>I have another site that also has the dashboard missing – no menu but I can get into that site but can not fix it.
HELP! LOL
]]>We have a multi-site account, there are 6 websites total: a marketing website, a master template of the marketing, 3 client websites and a test website.
Sometime over this weekend something happened and now all 6 websites are showing the marketing website, even their dashboards. We cannot, in any way, get access to the other 5 sites. We thought it might be Bluehost who did a URL update but we had them do a database restore to our archive from the 16th when it was still working and that did not fix it.
We thought possibly it was the update from 3.8.3 to 3.9.1 but the restore put it back. Our other thought is that someone who used to work on this project has done something to the account. We are so confused as to what could have happened.
I do not know where to find the .htaccess file at either.
Can someone please help us?
