Dashboard not loading

Hi,

a few days ago I wanted to do an update to the site. When going to the login page, it looked strange (no layout, just fields to fill in). After checking that no files changed on the server, I had enough thrust to login in the form. (FYI I’m using WPS Hide Login plugin to nog login in wp-admin).

Now when I’m logged in, I’m not directly redirected to the dashboard. If I go to my home page, I see the bar at the top and can choose to navigate to the dashboard. But then I get the message of Chrome that there are too many redirects to wp-admin done and that clearing my cookies might work. I cleared my cookies but still I have the problem.

I remember the last thing I did was updating plugins but I can’t remember which ones exactly…

I found some topic where they suggested to disable the plugins manually. I tried that but the page referred to (wp-admin/plugins.php) is not found.

Is there anything more I can check or do to resolve my problem and be able to update the site?

Latest update broke the dashboard

After the latest update (1.5.5) my WordPress dashboard did not load, it was just a blank white page.

I found out a workaround which suggested that if I would rename plugin folders via FTP, I could spot a plugin that was responsible. After renaming mailgun folder I can now access my dashboard.

I cannot make any changes to the actual page. If i type in my domain name /wp-admin nothing loads but if I put in the domain name alone the page actually comes up. Yet it does not allow me to make any changes to the site.

Dashboard Won't Display

I just moved my site to a new host, MochaHost. It took some doing because of their naming defaults, but most of my site is loading. However, I can’t get the dashboard to come up for the administrator ID.

I tried:
– clearing cache & cookies
– restarting workstation
– removing all plugins
– invoking wp-admin.php manually
– enabling debug through wp-config.php (returned some errors when plugins were installed)

I use the 2011 theme.

It sees the database, and I can log in as any user (that I remember the password for). I get the small bar at the top of the screen that has the WordPress dropdown on the left and the user name on the right.

Hovering over the user name drops the box shoing the avatar, user name, user ID and ‘Log Out’.

Any thoughts as to what to try next?

WP Dashboard not loaing

I logged in to the admin page of my site trailsunblazed.com and the dashboard only partially loaded. All I am able to see are recent comments. I do not have access to my plugins, stats, media files, and I cannot create or edit posts. I tried on my wife’s computer and it’s the same issue. I cleared by browser cache/cookies and nothing happened. I am still able to edit posts and view stats on the WP mobile app but it’s the dashboard that is not functioning on the laptop. It was working fine a couple days ago and i have not made any changes since then.

Hello everybody,
i’ve load a second wordpress instance to my root and have now a problem with the dashboard by the first instance. At first it didn’t started the dashboad at all (Error database connection). Then i’ve changed the DB_NAME, DB_USER, DB_PASSWORD and DB_HOST to the original values back in the wp-config. Now when i try to start the login startet the wordpress installer instead.
What can i do to get my dashboard running again?

hi,

i installed the latest version of wordpress 4.2.1 manually. everything works fine expect sometimes my website and dashboard will not load for a while(for about 5-10 mins). then the problem is automatically resolved and i will be able to access everything. this problem occurs often.

this problem is very troublesome. Any help would be appreciated.

Since I updated my site “https://psichedomanderisposte.com”, I am not able to reach my dashboard. I get a message that “no update is necessary. The wp-database is already updated” and if I go on, I get the home page of my site. There is no possibility anymore to get my dashboard.

Hi,

I clicked to update to the latest 4.1 version of WordPress last night. It said it installed. Today, I got to my admin login page, and logged in. It logs me in and sends me to my home dashboard page, but nothing actually loads on the page. My tab loads and reads Dashboard < elle rose photo, and my favicon loads next to it. There is not spinning wheel to suggest it is still loading. But the page itself is blank.

Very troublesome…. Any help/advice/fixes would be greatly appreciated!

Hello.
i am facing a serious problem with my website.
Few days ago i have installed a Plugin and after that i was unable to visit my site and it’s dashboard, and then it was fixed by deactivating plugin.
again 1 or 2 days ago, i added a code in function.pnp and these problem arised again and then fixed again by changing the themes.
can anyone tell why this problem ??
