Can someone please tell me how to resolve this issue.
]]>For several weeks I’ve been having trouble where the database server of my VPS crashes. It happens every time when publishing a new post.
Today, the entire server even crashes. So the problems seems to increase.
I’m guessing it’s probably some plugin, but I couldn’t really figure out which plugin. I’ve tried disabling all of them and enabling them one by one. The back end just goes slower and slower as I do so, but it doesn’t seem to crash at one particular plugin.
Even so, that when I disable all and back enable all, publishing a new post doesn’t crash the server. But when I play around in the back end a bit, or wait a day it then crashes the server.
I’ve also installed Query Monitor, but didn’t noticed anything strange or extra slow.
Would anyone have a suggestion on how to locate such a problem?
Thank you in advance,
Jordy
After every few days my database randomly crashes and effects all the other sites on my server too. It displays the “Error establishing database connection”
I have tried changing the nginx congiguration file(conf.d). I have tried optimizing my database but nothing seems to work or fix the problem.
The only temporary solution that seems to fix it is to reboot my server and then again after a few days it randomly crashes. I have not been able to yet identify what might be causing the problem. Could it be a plugin or a theme file? Or something is wrong with my server configuration.
The strange thing is before I added this site on my server all the other sites worked fine.So I am guessing whatever the problem is, it’s caused by my Blog

]]>I had a website made in wordpress. The database is now corrupt, cannot be restored and I dont have a copy of the database either. However I have a copy of the website folder contents that I made when I installed wordpress. I want to use the same copied files to reinstall the website with a new(fresh) database so that I dont have to go through the whole process of psd to wordpress conversion and all. Is there a way out possible?
Regards.
]]>It failed and suggested posting the following here and ask for assistance
wp_options: Table is marked as crashed
wp_postmeta: 1 client is using or hasn’t closed the table properly
wp_blogs: 1 client is using or hasn’t closed the table properly
When posting a blog entry yesterday it did seem to act odd, yet with a refresh behaved and appeared fine.
any suggestions on how to resolve? I believe I have a backup from Sunday – I hope.
cheers,
Fred
]]>I believe I know what happened. After recovering the database, it appears that the upload process failed while uploading, and immediately after storing, a jpg whose name contained four consecutive periods (“Ron McGee. What….I won.jpg” to be precise).
As Joe Pesci might say, does this theory hold water?
