first i have to note that except for the first time I got the email, I never ever get any other, however I have been able to track the issue down to woocommerce and site works fine everytime I deactivate and delete the plugin.
i have just installed it again, I get the notification that woocommerce is updated however I need to update the database and this is where the issue lies.
for everytime I click on the the blue update button it take me back to the the error page, the main problem is that database update request. I have tried to manually do it from status but the same thing happens (I get to dashboard – click on woocommerce status – land back to the critical error page) it’s frustrating
i checked status and everything checks o so it’s not conflicting with any plugin or theme.
What could be wrong, what do I need to do?!
i should also mention that the first time I got the update database notification after I installed woocommerce and set up a product was when I tried to set up a woo account, gave me suggestions of Google ad listings and jetpack which I selected and boom the issue started (something bout Google ad listings works with updated woo database) I have long since deleted the two plugins.
Thank you!
]]>I returned to the website page and the products were now visible. However, my client still couldn’t see them. After some digging, we realized that if we are logged into the site, you can see the products. Anyone not logged in like the customers only sees a comment box.
Can anyone explain what’s happening?
]]>I have a similar problem to this one > https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/all-order-numbers-reverted-after-update/.
All my previous order numbers were changed after updating the plugin (ver. 1.6.0) AND plugin database. All NEW orders have correct order numbers even after plugin/database update and are in correct sequence to the previous sequence of order numbers which were then changed after update.
I know i have a renumerate option but I am not sure if renumeration will be correct and if this action is reversible if something goes wrong? All orders start with nr.1 every start of the year. My orders range from year 2018.
What is the best way to deal with this situation? I appreciate your help.
Thanks.
]]>I am in the process of repairing and redesigning my clients website. However I am noticing that they keep getting error messages.
The first error message is Database Update??–?An unexpected issue occurred during the database update which caused it to stop automatically. Please contact support for assistance.?
The second error is
Description:An error occurred inserting data into the revenue table
Category:Core
Source:Revenue Migration
Date & Time:2023-09-02 21:33:51
Error details:{ “Data”: { “donation_id”: 153, “form_id”: 0, “amount”: 0 }, “Error”: “An error occurred when processing Donation #153. To insert revenue, please provide valid donation_id, form_id, amount.” }
I have tried to review the error walk through on https://givewp.com/documentation/core/frequent-troubleshooting-issues/handling-database-update-issues/ However I am still very confused and lost.
Please help me with this.
]]>We have a whole new, clean, wordpress installation with woocommerce, it is in development mode to replace an older website. We had only one update of woocommerce and it gave 32.000 past due actions when updating the database, this is an example:
woocommerce_run_product_attribute_lookup_update_callback

This is odd as the installation is totally new and fresh and there are no other plugins at this moment except woocommerce
Does anybody nows what is wrong here?

]]>One of our clients is having issues with their database updating.
I’ve followed the following steps here: https://givewp.com/documentation/core/frequent-troubleshooting-issues/handling-database-update-issues/
and here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/unexpected-issue-occurred-during-the-database-update/
But unfortunately the issue is not resolved.
Steps I’ve taken:
– cleared site cache and disabled all plugins besides GiveWP and tried to update database
– enabled advanced updates and updated each entry individually, cleared plugin cache (site cache disabled) and tried to run the updater again, same issue.
– All themes, wp core, plugins are up to date
– Looked for the donation ID in the log but the log contains no entries with the log id (#1936) so I cant remove or edit the donation in question.
Here are the general log entries:

I understand that these plugins are usually packaged with WordPress but is the update responsible for their appearance or is something suspicious going on? Thank you.
