Dates set in Event are not showing up correctly

After updating to 4.0.16, Event dates are broken.

Example:
When setting up an event for the following dates, the Preview will show up as shown below:

Event dates:
January 1, 2025, preview shows January 1, 2025
January 2, 2025, preview shows February 1, 2025
January 3, 2025, preview shows March 1, 2025
↓
January 12, 2025, preview shows December 1, 2025
January 13, 2025, preview shows January 1, 1970
January 14, 2025, preview shows January 1, 1970
↓
January 31, 2025, preview shows January 1, 1970
February 1, 2025, preview shows January 2, 2025

Saturday night rollover

We have a show that starts 23:00 Saturday niht and finished at 01:00 Sunday morning.

JOAN keeps telling me SHOW CANNOT START BEFORE IT ENDS.

Any ideas?

Translating the dates with WPML

Hello!

I’m using this plugin on a bilingual site translated using WPML. When translating the page, the WPML interface does allow me to translate the dates, but on the front-end, the dates don’t appear as translated. See: https://imgur.com/a/d4UqumW

Is there any reason why the plugin wouldn’t display the translated dates?

Hide year for birthdays but not other dates

I am creating an internal/private Employee Directory for my company using this plugin (Circled template), and we would like to incorporate birthdays, e.g., use the related Widget Pack features and list it on individual profiles. However, as most people do not like to disclose their age, we want to exclude the year from showing up in the birthday dates. I could just remove it from the date format in Connections: Settings, but we also want to include (Work) Anniversary dates which do require the year, so it shouldn’t be hidden from ALL dates. Is there a way to target hiding the year portion of a certain type of date and leave the others unaffected?

Add another date and delete a date

Hi,

Within the WP-Calendar event editor I am not able to “Add another date” or delete a date. When I create a weekly pattern and need to delete some of the dates, it says that it is deleted.

But after updating the event and going back into the “View scheduled dates”, the ones I deleted are back.

Not able to add another date. I do the steps to “Add another date” and it indicates that it was added.

But after selecting Update, the added date isn’t there.

What am I doing wrong?

Hello everyone

I have a website that has published content for 13 years and our URLs contain the date (local date), in this year Our SEO team decided to remove dates from URLs but for this action, we predict facing a bunch of problems:

1- During two or three months we faced huge traffic drops because even though our URLs were redirected by the 301 methods we used too many for the Google crawl budget.

2- Some pages and comment pages (we still use pagination for our comments) got shot and we are facing 404 problems on SEO rank for these pages maybe we have rank dropped.

3- We have created too many internal links (with URLs containing dates) in contents and we don’t know how to rewrite them. and if we use the 301 method these changes should be enough to move link-building credit?

I will be so glad to hear about your experience with changing URLs and SEO effects on pages, especially on huge websites, and the time needed to recover all page rank by Google.

BEWARE – Plugin Does Not Work for Leap Years

Overall plugin works well. But the plugin does not support leap years. I had to put in false dates to get it to work.

Had to capture start date 2/3/2024 to 3/2/2024 to get the output of 01/03/2024 to 03/03/2024
