Hi there, I recently had a slightly stressful experience when deactivating this plugin – our (live) site went into maintenance mode! Can you address this please?

Hi,

I was trying to deactivate a plugin programmatically for backend URLs like: /wp-admin/post.php?post=123&action=elementor using the option_active_plugins HOOK. I placed the code under /wp-content/mu-plugins/ and tested it, only to find out that the plugin gets deactivated permanently. What am I missing?

Question: if I deactivate the plugin, will it lose all the roles and settings I’ve created?

I have to deactivate plugins to search for a possible conflict, switching them back on one by one.

Just don’t want to lose my roles and settings if it can be helped!

I came across a major glitch when trying to export products from Woocommerce. The export returns an empty csv file (empty except for the header rows) unless I deactivate this plugin.

I had the plugin activated and it worked very well at disabling right click on my posts. I decided that I no longer needed the functionality as I wanted some related blogs to be able to link to my images. I first tried to disable all settings in the plugin and saved those. Then I deactivated the plugin and finally I deleted the plugin but I still can’t get right click working again. I also cleared the cache each time I did this.

Am I missing something – does the plugin make some permanent change to a file in the WordPress system that I need to modify?

First, thank you sooo much for creating this. I had looked all over trying to find a plugin that does exactly what you designed it to do with no luck until now! I love it but it doesn’t seem to like me very much. I have to deactivate it every time I try to switch pages in my site or use Elementor. Any ideas on how to fix this so I can keep using it?
