New Default Blog?

When wordpress installs, there is a default blog that gets created. That single blog can be extended to multisite format.

Now, plz let me know whether the following scenario is possible:

1) In the multisite format, I delete the default blog

2) Create another new blog and make it default blog OR for that matter make, any of the existing blog as default

If the above is possible – how?

Default Blog 0.4.1 on WP 3.4.1 doesn’t appear to work. Dashboard > Tools > Default Blog shows a blank page. Similar questions in the forum have been left unanswered.

Installed plugin in right directory
(Check other plugins there work OK)
Logged in as superadmin, other plugins network activate fine.
Went to activate and got lots of errors:

I have the menu tools/default blog
But when I click on it, my page is blank.

Multisite Default Blog (Plugin) not working as expected

Hi,

I am using wordpress multisite and default blog plugin. Whenever i create a new site from admin dashboard, the newly created blog is absolutely right but when i register a new site and user, content from some pages (which is copied from default blog) goes missing.

In my case, iframe and form inputs were disappeared alongwith their parent containers (used div,p,table but no use).

How can i fix this any ideas ??

I have more than one blog associated with my account and the one that my username links directly to (when clicking on it from my having commented on someone’s post) is not the one I want.

How would I go about changing the default one?

Disable default setting that adds all new users/blog owners to default blog

Hello,
When I am in the Network Admin panel, and add a new site (url, admin username, and admin email), the new site owner is always added as an administrator to the default site on our WordPress multisite installation.

Is there any way we can prevent new users from being added to the default blog? We’re implementing LDAP soon, so every time someone registers for a blog in our university, we can’t have them added to the default blog.

I’ve read this is possible somewhere here in the forums, just haven’t found a solution yet.

I’ve got a root blog, let’s call it root.com. I’ve got a second blog at bloggy1.root.com, and I’d like to, when users register at bloggy1.root.com, have bloggy1.root.com become the blog they’ve registered for, not root.com.

I don’t need to have registration at all on root.com, if that makes a difference.

I can code something, I just need to know what I can hook into in the WP registration process; basically where is the user assigned a blog in the reg function?

I’ve only made one theme(not 2010) available to network sites but yet when they first activate they still get the Twenty Ten theme regardless. how to keep this from happening?
