Is there a means to make the initial image larger? It seems unnecessarily small. It can be zoomed, but would look better if larger initially. Something I can do when creating the .glb? (Using Blender.)

Hi, I would like to know if I can set the default image size of the image that is displayed when the post is added to the newsletter. I understand it can be resized. But in our newsletter, we would like it slightly smaller all throughout the newsletter and that means we have to resize every image each time we create a newsletter. So I’m just looking for a way to default to a smaller size. Thanks for any advice.

Is there a kinda easy way to make all of the images included in a theme main slider display in only one size?

Some code magic? I have no idea what is involved with what I’m asking. Just curious and hopeful.

Some themes create sliders that size all the images automatically to one dimension/size but other themes do not, so you end up with bouncing content from huge different sized images – and in some themed the images are chosen at random, like from a category, so manually editing is not an option.

No "Attachment Display Settings" visible when uploading file to Media Library

When I upload a JPG I cannot choose a default image size – there is no drop down menu,or anything. There is no Attachment Display Settings box in my “Edit Media” window. I have to manually resize every uploaded image. Do I have to install a plugin to access this function?

Disclaimer – I am almost completely new to WP; I authored a WP blog on a company’s website, so I have been through the motions of uploading images and selecting an image size through the Attachment Display Settings in another dashboard.

Feature Requests: pixels width too small for modern screens

I don’t know how many people will agree with me, but I find the default settings of 1024 x 1024 a little too low for modern screens.

There is a trend now for full screen images in themes and these are often nearer 1920 width than 1024.

My request is that the default width on Images uploaded by any method is changed from 1024 to 1920.

Hopefully this post will provoke some discussion as it would only make sense if a large number of users wanted a change, as I am well aware I can edit the settings after install.

Plugin to scan smaller default images in posts after installation

Hi,
I have now installed the plugin and it scans my posts to detect images to show up. Yet, for some posts the default plugin images show up (those neutral pictures of gradients, blurs, stripes, etc).

I have noticed, that for posts, that have only on image less than 200×200 in size, the post image in the plugin snippet still remains a default plugin image. So this relatively small image from the original post does not show up.

Changing the default image size when adding media

When I upload media into a page, the default size is 300 X 255.

Is there a way to make the default size 100%?

Currently I do this in a child theme’s style.css with…

‘.alignnone {
margin: 5px 20px 20px 0;
width: 100%;
}’

but I’m guessing there’s a much better way.

My site is running on localhost, so I cant offer a link to it.
