[Feature Proposal] Default Category Image

Hello,
often some events has not images, or it is simpler and quickly associate an image for some of the events of the same category.
I propose a little feature for the category management in the ?wp-eventmanager plugin
Events has not image asociated could be inherit images of their category.

Can not change default image

I am new to website building. I am using the Astra template and using Elementor. There is no option to change the background image. Iam following a YouTube guid eon how to do this. In the creator’s video, he goes to Edit section> display and the current image appears which can be replaced. This option does not appear for me. He has responded to my query and suggested to go to Elementor -> Settings -> Features and set ‘Flexbox Container’ to ‘disable’. This has not made a difference .Can someone advise me on how to do this?

Category Image for Events with Multiple Categories

On our event listings, we show an icon next to each event with the category. This works great most of the time.

However when an event has multiple categories, that’s when we sometimes run into issues. It always uses the image for the category based on alphabetical sorting as far as I can tell.

For example:
My event has multiple categories – Regional Events and Conventions.
I’d like it to show the category image for Regional Events
However it always shows the image for Conventions

I’ve tried changing the order that categories are displayed in settings to the id and also the slug (changing the slug to 1-regional so it will be first) but none of those make a difference, so I think that only affects the order of the categories in a list and nothing to do with the image it uses.

I’ve been hunting for an answer though here and the documentation for over an hour so figured it’s time to ask for help. If anyone can point me in the right direction of a way to either a) choose which image is displayed; or b) a way to specify a default order of images so it will always use the image from the top of that list rather than alphabetically (we only have a small number of categories we use so I could just give them a priority as it likely won’t need to change).

Default image in woocommerce

I am managing a website that was build from another programmer and he changed some details of woocommerce images that dont show the image of the product.

I checked that each product has their image but he changed some code to not show the normal image and show the default image of woocommerce. Im searching the files of woocommerce but Im not findthing the place to change it. Could you help me?

Default Blog Post Image Issues

Hello! I am helping a friend with her blog, and all of her POSTS show a default image when shared onto social media that is no longer even in her library. She is using Mia theme and tried to use the default image to override and still having issues, all settings for default imaging are updated to correct one and all sub-pages on her blog are working it’s just the actual post pages that don’t show the assigned featured image AND don’t grab this plugin featured image… any thoughts?

Hi, I have read the documentation but is still unsure of the image sizes for the following
Title & Meta:
OpenGraph – Featured Image: at least 1200px wide? how about height?
Twitter – Featured Image: at least 1200px wide? how about height?

Schema:
Website Details – Website Logo: 112 x 112px?
Organization – Logo: ?
Default Image – Logo: ?

I don’t know if I am the only one having trouble with this, but I hope you can help me, and probably will helpful if you can provide the ideal image size as part of the description,

When there is no image attached to the post, PostX attaches its own: https://my-site.com/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-post/assets/img/ultp-fallback-img.png

Instead of using that one, is there a way I can choose my own as the default image when no featured image is attached to the post? People who write articles don’t always have an image, so it would be good to have a generic one that fits our site, which would look better than a placeholder image.

Cannot set default Social Media image

Good morning
For our new website we want to display the featured image for Facebook, Twitter & Co.
This is working quite perfect so far.
But if there is a post without featured image it should use a default image for Social Media activities.
I can see that there is an option to set a default image here: SEO > Social > Facebook

But I am not able to save an image here.
I select an image and click “save changes” and after a seond or two the default image is being removed and the browser tab just says “The form contains 1 error”.

Any idea what I can do or check?

Image Too Small

Hi there, each time I try to set a default image for Display Featured Images I get an error “Sorry, your image is too small. The Default Featured Image must be changed to a valid, well sized image file.” This is the case even when the image is truly massive.

This has happened with multiple Studiopress themes for Genesis.
I’m utilizing a multi-site.
Also using Smush plugin.
Please advise.
