iCalendar button disappears in Deafault Page Template

If you enable the Use updated calendar designs checkbox: https://nimb.ws/wvtOXs and the Events template is Default Page Template then why only the Google Calendar Button is showing. What should I do to make the iCalendar button appear as well?
It is about single event view of course…

Sidebar not showing on pages

HI after hours of googling i managed to download a plugin that enables right sidebar for twenty seventeen theme on pages. The problem is, that it only works for default template and not for elementor full width. But the default template looks horrible – the sidebar is too big and the space for elementor text and headlines is too small. SO how to solve this?
these solutions occur to me:
1) Somehow resize and customize the default template so it looks better
2) Change all pages to posts which i dont really like
3) or to give up and have sidebar only on posts.
If you have any other solution i would love to hear it!
I read that this otherwise superb plugin does not have sidebars on pages so i donwloaded the plugin which works but only for default template pages, not for elementor full width…. THanks for any help

Overiding Default Page Template elements

We use the Twenty Seventeen theme. Is there a way to edit some of the theme elements for selecting the Default Page Template – specifically changing the page banner image (currently it just says Events with a blue background) and adding text underneath the banner image to explain the type of events we’re posting.

Settings Won't "Stick", Default Page View Shows Blog Archive Layout

I have a few different issues. Recently, after an upgrade, my client’s custom page was negated and her calendar started showing a list view of one event, as though it’s showing me the archives for a category called “Events”. Except there is no slug *anywhere* for “events” except in the Events Settings.

This used to work until some upgrade, but I’m not sure at which point that was.

Settings have always been:
Full Styles
Default Page Template
List View

I am able to get it to display using Default Events Template, but it doesn’t display my header, no clue why. I’ve tried viewing it as “month view” and it delivers a 404. I’ve tried different styles, different templates, and everything results in the same, nothing ‘sticks’.

I’ve replaced this plugin *completely* twice now. I’ve deactivated all other plugins to see if there was a conflict. Nothing. I’ve reverted to the default theme with no change. I cannot for the life of me figure this out. I use this plugin elsewhere and don’t experience this issue.

It’s kind of maddening, I’d sure appreciate your help. My client basically can’t use the calendar at all right now. Thanks!

file for default page template

This is a great theme! I am working on creating a new template file and was wondering which file is the “default” page template that shows up as a choice when creating new pages. I found the template-blank.php and the template-no-sidebar.php but was wondering which one would be like a default page.php file? Thank you in advance.

Blank event page after upgrade to 3.0

Hi!

Been troubleshooting all day now to find out why I get a blank page when I visit the event calendar on my page.

I have narrowed it down to some template-setting
Under settings and the Tab “Show” where you choose what template you want to use; Default Events Template or Default Page Template.

I’ve always used the Default Page Template and it’s been working fine. Now it seems to not working correct because when I choose that, I get that blank page. If I change to Default Events Template, the calendar shows up, but on my page, it doesn’t look as near as good as the Default Page Templated looked on my page.

Any idea what I can do to try to fix this?

Custom Default Page Template?

I have created a custom page template that I really like. I want it to be used on every page I create but not on my blog posts.

In order to do this right now, every time I create a page I have to go to the attributes section, go to the template pull down, and select my custom template. I don’t like having to do this. I want wordpress to know that every time I create a page, it needs to use my custom template and that every time I create a post, it needs to use the regular template (like it currently does)

Any ideas? Any plugins for this? I haven’t been able to find one yet.
