I’m using Yoast for SEO and I was adding Sitemap_index.xml to google search console. After I did that I notices that it contained 3 sitemaps. The first one, page-sitemaps.xml is correctly representing my pages in the website. While the other 2 seem to be sitemaps that were made with the original theme. I noticed the those sitemaps are linking to pages that don’t show on my Pages tab in wordpress. I had deleted every page that is not in use to keep the site clean. I can find a way to edit the sitemap, since there’s lots of info online. But, I can’t figure out were those other pages are saved, why they don’t show on Pages tab? I’m worried this might hurt my SEO. Is deleting those two other sitemaps enough for google not to crawl those pages. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
]]>I`m copy a original (e.g. German) page in a translation (e.g. English) page.
Then i publish this new page.
And the if i will delete this copied page i get a pencil behind the flag on the original page.
I can click to edit but get the message “You can`t edit this item because it is in the Trash. Please restore it and try again.”
What can i do? How i can delete a translated and published page and get my “+” sign back after the original page?
Can i not show a screenshot here?
Please help me.
Rob
I even checked if it was designated as a page where posts would be shown, but like I said, because it doesn’t exist by name, I can’t see why posts are being directed there.
Thanks!

I want to copy the content, delete it, and quickly re-create a page with the exact same URL.
Is this going to cause any issues with my database? Having a page with the exact URL of a former post that I deleted?

]]>When I go to Pages in the Dashboard, the page is listed among the other pages. Hovering the page name, I get choices of Edit, Quick Edit, Trash, Preview, Duplicate This, and Edit With Visual Composer.
I click on the “Trash” choice, and that link is red font. But the page is not removed from the list.
I click on the linked Title for that page and go to that page. Over on the right side of the page, I have a red font link “Move to Trash.” I click on that.
I go back to Pages in the Dashboard, and the page is still listed there.
Nowhere do I find a way to permanently delete the page.
Nowhere do I find a Trash folder to empty or whatever.
So, what are the procedures for permanently deleting a page in real time?

]]>Investigating this issue, I found a problem at admin_bar_delete_page function (wp-cache.php).
Where is coded:
$path = realpath( trailingslashit( get_supercache_dir() . str_replace( '..', '', preg_replace( '/:.*$/', '', $_GET[ 'path' ] ) ) ) ) . '/';
I replaced for the previous version:
$path = trailingslashit( get_supercache_dir() . preg_replace( '/:.*$/', '', $_GET[ 'path' ] ) );
and now it’s work again. Can you guys check what problem happend with this function?
PS: I use a Windows Server!
Thank you in advanced.
