Unable to delete subscribes from the list

Hi,

I want to delete old subscribers, but nothing happens when I delete them.
They do not go to the trash, and those that were already in trash, can also not be removed.

As soon as I click on for example “non confirmed subscribers” my browser’s gives a message saying that this page is slowing down the browser, please stop this page. Seems like everything freezes and clicking on the trash tab, or others simply not works. This happens in Firefox and Edge too.

Any idea’s how to solve this?

Deleting Subscribers not working

I have a lot of “deleted” subscribers in the recycle bin. trying to delete them from the bin is just not working – without any comment.

and NO…
* they are NO “users”
* they are NOT in any Woocommerce List

Hi, I have a blog published on our website, where people who want to follow the blog can enter their email address and subscribe. Recently we have been getting a lot of fake subscriptions like this: [email protected]

We have about 10 like that. In the other cases the numerals after ‘chris’ change, like: [email protected]

I am trying to delete them from within the plugin, but cannot do that. I select, click delete, but no result.

Suggestions on what to do please. Would be much appreciated. Our WordPress install is running the 2021 Theme.

Can’t delete subscribers from trash

I am trying to clean up my mailpoet subscribers as the lists are getting extremely slow. I have followed https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/304-why-i-cant-delete-my-subscribers and still can’t delete the subscribers from mailpoet trash. It keeps giving me the “0 subscribers were permanently deleted” notification.

Currently there are 116 subscribers in the trash that I want to empty.

I read several topics about exactly this but none of them were actually resolved yet marked resolved.

Please help!

Hello, could you help me please? I have a lot spam-subscribers and wanna to delete them. And Mail Poet 3 doesn’t do this. I press the button “Move to trash” and nothing happens. I was trying to delete from list “Subscribed”, “Unconfirmed”, “Unsubscribed”, Inactive”, and “Bounced”. And nothing!! What I can do?

PROBLEM: Can’t delete inactive subscribers using usual delete method.
Hi, I’m cleaning up my MailPoet subscriber lists, and we have several members who have left their jobs and not left a forwarding email address, so we can’t ask them to unsubscribe.
So we have many bounces. I have a list of about 30 entries that always bounce, and that I have tried to delete several times, but they keep coming back. I have also tried unsubscribing them. Same problem.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE ISSUE
In WordPress Dashboard MailPoet Console
Subscribers:
Use the option to search for an email address. When it shows up, do the following:
Click the check box next to the email address
Select Delete Subscribers from the actions drop down list
Click the apply button
Log out of WordPress
Log back in
Go back to the MailPoet console
Search for the deleted emails using the “search subscribers” box/button
THERE THEY ARE AGAIN
Follow the same process for unsubscribing. Same result:
No matter what I do, these entries that continually bounce can not be deleted. I would think that if there is an option to delete an item provided, then using that option should cause the item to be deleted.
What am I missing?

Limit user list in admin when deleting users

Hi all – I manage a WP site with over 270k subscribers. The large volume of subscribers has no noticeable effect on performance, however one issue I can’t figure out how to resolve is this:

When we have to delete a user from time to time, you have to wait for the entire list of subscribers to load in the drop down menu for “Attribute all posts to” on this page in the admin:

/wp-admin/users.php?action=delete&user=[user id]&_wpnonce=[blahblahblah]

Sometimes the page will actually finish loading, sometimes it won’t (thus the confirm deletion button remains disabled).

Is there a filter I can run on just this page so that the drop-down only includes contributors and above? We’re not using any special user levels or anything like that. Really would like to avoid having to hack a core page.
